Came here for a lunch date and enjoyed it. Food was good, I really liked the calamari and fried rice balls. I got lasagna while my girlfriend got Bolognese pasta.

Food was really good! Pizzas marinara sauce really tasted better than the traditional sauce. The crust was so good as well! The bad thing in my opinion was the price of the drinks. $6 for sparking lemonade water?!? That’s honestly too much and you can only get one so you have to pay $6 for another bottle. (And they are small) Spent $100 for 3 pizzas and 4 sparking lemonade waters. Filled us up (we were 4 people).

Food serving was small. I was at another Italian restruant near the Victorian that had a bigger serving size so I was disappointed with what I had here. Taste wise it felt lacking also, seemed definitely lighter and less flavorful than what I would expect from a restruant of this caliber. Not disappointed just not impressed. View was nice and the ambiance was perfect. If I do go back I won’t be ordering this dish.

Fantastic food in a lively market setting, La Pizza & La Pasta is darn good food and drink. Listen to the suggestions of your server because they will know best. One star knocked down for the price of the food. I had a seafood pasta that was just as delicious as it sounds.

The food here was very underwhelming. A little bad to be honest. Both of the pastas we ordered were watery and not flavourful at all. The pizza was undercooked and bland.

Stopped by after a round of golf at Rancho for lunch. After wandering wide eyed past all the deli options we made our way to an empty bar with comfortable seating. Ordered drinks from our wonderful server/bartender Anastasia and quickly opted for the DineLA prix fixe menu. Crudo e mozzarella to start with a pizza salsicciotta as a main. My friend shared his arugula salad as portions for starters were generous. Desserts were a tiramisu and limoncello puff pastry, both delicious. My friend ordered a bolognese to take home that was well received. Just try to make it out of there without picking up some items from the market on the way out!

Pizza was okay. Pasta sauce flavors were pretty weak (lobster tomato sauce and lemon butter sauce). Calamari was greasy. And service was poor. Some people got their food more than 45 minutes after others. Eating in the market cafeteria style would probably be a better experience.

The problem wasn’t the service. Our waitress was actually great. The food however was quite bad. Like not what we expected, incredibly small portions, flavorless, and lukewarm. Yikes from a place like Eataly. Can’t even get good pasta. Next time just buy pasta at the market and take it home to make it.

The restaurant was good, However they do not do the best with cross contamination. We had a shellfish allergy and ended up having a reaction when eating one of the dishes. Overall I think there’s better Italian restaurant out there with better prices.

We used to love eating here, but it seems food quality has gone downhill (the pasta and arancini, even the bread wasn’t fresh), the service was not good (neither the front staff nor the waitress), and the prices have gone up. The margherita pizza is still great if you like this style of pizza, and the people who bring out the food are still friendly. Sadly there are now plenty of better restaurants.
