We recently hosted a wedding Rehearsal Dinner for 70 people. The Below Deck Venue was perfect! The food was delicious, the service spectacular. We were lucky to have a warm evening and having the doors open created the best view of the lake. Joe, Ellen, and Jeff were outstanding to work with! I chose the venue a year ago while it was still in the construction phase, but I knew it would be the perfect place to host our event. Everyone had a great time. Thanks to the Staff for helping us to create the perfect evening!

This bar/restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. From the floors to the light fixtures, I was impressed. The restaurant area was chaotic. It was very busy, but with good reason. The food was great! Everyone was extremely nice, but to our dismay, it wasn’t good service. Our server didn’t greet us. We had to find someone to take our order. We never got refills on our drinks. We had to go to find someone to refill our drinks again. We got a mixture of apps including cheese curds, which were pretty basic, french fries that were flavorless, and tator tots that were delicious! I had the porker for my meal, which was chicken, bbq pork, & brisket on top of mac & cheese. It also had crispy onions on top. I really liked it. The service was underwhelming, but they were, like I said, very nice. The downstairs area was gorgeous. It’s a big beautiful area for bands as well as a bar and an incredible view of the lake. I will definitely be back.

I hosted a graduation party at Below Deck at Smoke on the Water and it was fun and easy! The venue is great with the open air to the lake and the food and service were outstanding. Great set up for a DJ and dancing.

The view of okauchee lake is great and the service is amazing! The manager was a bit rude but the other staff made up for it-they were so nice. We did takeout and the food was cold but once warmed at home was very good. Had a bill issue where they added on 3% non cash when we paid cash and even when we paid cash it caused major confusion but again, the staff made up for any issues-not the manager-and because of them, Ariana specifically, we will be back.

Food was great but the waitress was special. I ran into her at another restaurant but the experience was terrible. The waitress’s name is Alex and needless to say she was great at both restaurants. If your going to Smoke on the Water make a reservation they will be packed this summer and say hi to Alex.

Wonderful experience at this beautiful lake side location. This place meet every expectation we had from family friends who recommended this beautiful place. The atmosphere, from the fun servers, to cheerful guests was a treat. Our young server mallie was excellent! Such a card to be around! She ran us through the menu, got us the excellent Texas Twinkie appetizer and was always there to refill our ice teas. An excellent first impression from her, not to mention the amazing soup and brisket sandwiches! Must try spot on the lake!
