Very enjoyable dinner with friends. I’d read about this restaurant and wanted to try it for some time and finally found a good reason by buying dinner for friends. The restaurant is spacious and a really wonderful reworking of an old school building. Courtney looked after us really well. We started with cocktails and some bread. We’d brought a bottle of wine with us and corkage was $20. The table ordered steak frites, the lamb chop special and I shared the 34oz “The Hatchet” (bone-in ribeye) which was cut tableside for us. We ordered the mushrooms and carrots too. The food was excellent. The staff was attentive. We’re fortunate to be enjoying a delightful summer in the PNW and it was fun to spend this one with our friends here.

Excellent service, even better food! Everything was absolutely delicious and flavorful. We sat outside and loved the ambiance/music. They go above and beyond with their service as well. Also should mention the online reservation process was seemless and we arrived five mins early and were seated before our actual reservation time. Will most definitely be returning!

Accomplished menu and food preparation. We were there for a large party and the waitstaff and chefs tied everything together into a seamless grand evening. Steaks were quality cuts and cooked to perfection. Sides and desserts were all delicious. Only complaint was the cocktails seemed very watered down. Would return in a heartbeat for the food and casual elegance atmosphere in Woodinville’s very cool Schoolhouse District.

The BEST super kind and friendly service I ever encountered at a restaurant all these years dinning out including 1-3 stars Michelin places. Not to mention, their steak was perfectly cooked with awesome presentation at the table. Lauren is a star at this restaurant. She is not just kind with great personality but she treated us like a family member there. She is such a great asset to the company and our group had so much fun dinning here because of her outstanding service and great sense of humor. Highly recommend this place. Food is great. However there is no romance & luxury feeling. No flowers, candles or lamps on the plain wooden tables, especially on the second floor. Service is not professional enough, too causal for this kind of steak house.

Just wow! If you’re searching for the perfect high-class burger, I just found it! We stopped in and sat at the bar in the Crossbuck Brewery inside Walla Walla Steak. The hockey game was on and you could feel the excitement in the air. So much fun! We ordered the delicious, life altering Crossbuck Burger and savored every bite! It had the perfect, soft buttery bun and the perfect accoutrements! Crunchy lettuce, tomato, cheese and bacon all joined forces to make this one the hands down winner. The Classic Wedge Salad pulled out all the stops as well, with huge chunks of creamy blue cheese, hard boiled egg and crispy bits of crumbled bacon. Come hungry or plan to share, the portions are very generous! We love the experience here and that you can freely order off either menu no matter where you choose to sit. The patio is open! Can I say the service here is phenomenal? Jarrod was our server and he made the dining experience great. This was our first visit and we tried their steaks and the warm apple crisp . I recommend the creamy mash potatoes with your steak. I was not a fan of the sirloin, but am looking to return for the ribeye.

Steak was a bit tough (we got a medium cowboy ribeye) and a bit bland. We didn’t get any sauces, but next time I would definitely get a sauce. Crab cakes and Brussels sprouts were good. For the price, I would go elsewhere, like Prime or Daniel’s Broiler.

Fantastic food and atmosphere! I’m rating the service as a 3 star because our server spilled water on our table, acknowledged she did it and then ignored it. We ended up going over to their setting table and getting an extra napkin to clean up ourselves.
