II Poggio is one of our favorite restaurants in all of the Roaring Fork Valley. The food is amazing, and the service was just as good. There was a line to get in when we visited, so we figured it would be good. We were not disappointed on either occasion! This is a special place to dine in Snowmass Village.

What a great restaurant! The food and drink were wonderful! We highly recommend! Will need to make a reservation weeks ahead next time rather than have to wait in line outside before they opened up. Matthew was our bartender and server. He was so personable, friendly, and top notch!

What an amazing dinner. Food was delicious. We sat at bar after they told us they were completely booked all night. I now know why. Service was incredible. Katie, the bartender, was so accommodating. First introduction was a huge welcoming smile. The service was second to none. First tasty dinner in Snowmass that didn’t blow us away on pricing. By the way, the free bread and olives were a bonus . What a great time.

4.5 stars A must visit in Snowmass. Make reservations because they are busy! We were able to get a reservation on Monday at 7:30 pm and it was busy like a Sat night. They have a decent spread but not too much – a few pizza options, a few pasta options, some apps, some entrees and desserts. They also have specials. We ordered the dustino pizza with sausage, Calabrian chilli’s, tomatoes, the penne pasta with cauliflower, caramelized onions, pine nuts, mint and lemon and paired those with some fantastic red and white wine choices. Both the pizza and the pasta were delicious. They give you half portions on the pasta which was a great decision because I managed to finish it for a change. The pasta’s primary flavor is bland but the onions, cauliflower, lemons, mint and the butter really add a beautiful aftertaste. We also got some chilli oil which elevated the pasta, pizza and bread to another level. The breads were very good too! We ended the dinner with tiramisu which was good but not as good as my friend makes. All in all, price is on the higher end but this is worth the food experience.
