Just ordered here and the portion size is surprisingly good. Love that they give more meat than rice unlike other Jamaican restaurants I’ve been too. Happy with the speed of my delivery and the quality of the food. Will be ordering here again.

Worst beef patties I ever ate in my life! They charged me full price for 2 burnt beef patties. I usually go to the white plains location but today i happened to come across a cravin Jamaican in Ossining and said what the heck. Big mistake! White plains at least doesn’t sale burnt beef patties. I broke off a piece to show you the inside. Its just a piece but i swear on my child the whole beef patty was like this and was super crunchy.

I had the veggie stew and friend had the ox tail. Both meals were a good portion and tasty. Great selection of drinks and sweets. The staff were friendly as well as the other patrons. Cute back porch, thanks for welcoming experience!

The Dreaded Chalupacabra
I ordered the small jerk chicken combo, which was a good price even before the buy one get one deal they were running. The meal with a soda was less than 20 bucks a head, and the food. The chicken was fall off the bone tender, and very moist. The jerk flavor itself was surprisingly mild, which I would normally ding a Jamaican place for (I don’t really consider it to be jerk until it’s melting the plate it’s on) but the flavors here are so solid that I can’t reasonably complain about it.

Craven’s was one of the best Caribbean food places in Westchester. I don’t know what is going on as of late, but I was highly disappointed at what I was served the other day. I ordered two pieces of whiting fish, which is something I order frequently. The person who served me stated that the fish was kind of skimpy, and so an extra piece was added. I was grateful for the gesture and didn’t even bother to look at what she was talking about. When I got home, I grabbed the smallest piece from the bag and was taken back on how small the fish was. I proceeded to pull-out the other pieces and was in dismay on what I was given. The other two pieces weren’t much bigger than the piece I initially pulled out. I grabbed some beef jerky to measure the scale of the fish visually and wasn’t happy at all!

A little piece of paradise in Ossining! I have been meaning to try this place but didn’t get around to it. The food is Soooo gooood! I just wanted to order everything off the menu. Despite covid and not being able to dine in, the staff were super nice and accommodating. We ordered curry goat, brown stew chicken, a patty, Mac and cheese and plantain! Oh and a soup!! Delicious, I’ll be ordering for delivery!

I first called to make sure that the restaurant was opened and a lovely young lady answered and I found her to be very knowledgeable about the food being served and various items on the menu and she kindly provided me with the address, upon arrival I was greeted by a women behind the counter however she was on the phone with a customer placing an order and she acknowledged me while on the phone I patiently waited and once she finished she apologized and kindly took my order, I just knew by the atmosphere and the awesome customer service, that the food was going to not disappoint, my order consisted of the Rasta Pasta DELICIOUS I also got the Oxtail and Mac & cheese the oxtail’s where Succulent and the portions where sizable and generous I’m happy to say should you be in the Ossining area or by way of White Plains Newyork you will not be disappointed the food is DELICIOUS and customer service friendly and welcoming I’ll be back to try various dishes by way of Jamaica
