Our first impressions of this restaurant was a disappointment, the sides at the table were very little could be finished in one bite. Barely any rice in the container. And a tiny squirt of each sauce. Bad first impressions at the fact that the sides and sauces seemed every skimped. The service was also very slow, had to ask multiple times for more water or sauce, and even sides that were very little. But the meats seemed to be of good quality, very tasty and tender. Spicy Bullgogi was delicious and actually spicy. The over all experience would of been better if the sauces and side dishes weren’t very little servings and didn’t have to ask multiple times for refills.

I’m excited to share my recent dining experience at Meat Project, a place that truly caught my attention for its affordable pricing and decent service. Here’s a closer look at what made my visit noteworthy:

Service was good! Always packed, so we came around 3pm. Salad was good. Brisket is always the first to order since it is the fastest meat to cook.

Went for a weeknight dinner. This place is crowded. This is all you can eat with no tiered pricing. All the meats are included. You can order 3 at a time but they only cooked two at a time.

How about the WORST all you can eat? If I could give 0 stars, I would. Hot brisket grease spattered on my chest and in my husbands eye. The manager tried ignoring me as I initiated a conversation. I had to repeat myself several times before I could get a response, and his reply was there was nothing they could do because they weren’t doing the cooking. He offered me a spritz of burn gel. The waiter was amazing and so sorry. He said he had the burners turned too high to start, so after the burn incidents, he was careful to adjust the heat setting. We gave the waiter 40% tip, even though 20% of the tip was already included on the bill. I watched as the manager laughed when the waiter handed him our additional cash tip. There was dried squash stuck on my “clean” plate and the shrimp had all the feces included with every serving. I came back because my first experience was amazing. I will never come back and tell everyone to steer clear of this shady business. You are lucky his cornea did not get damaged. Someone else would sue you if this happens again.

Parking lot so plenty of parking! We got really lucky walking in around 5:30 on a Friday night but this place definitely gets busy! It’s all you can eat for $30 and everyone is really nice. QR code for the menu. The food is absolutely delicious but the spicy is definitely really spicy!

Overall my favorite KBBQ around centerville at the moment. Many meats to choose around from and unlimited sides as well. you will not be disappointed in the corn cheese nor steamed egg. Staff is always super friendly and they are always playing fire on the radio. Lots of different sojus and beer to choose from. I’d also recommend trying the “death sauce” seems like a secret item to my knowledge but I will say don’t try more than a small dab if you can’t handle heat always thinking of my next trip here.
