Not sure where these bad reviews came from. This food is exactly what you’re looking for out of a fried chicken joint. The chicken is fantastic. I saw a few people say it was too salty. Perhaps, but I like well-seasoned food. Sides are great, especially the mac & cheese and fast food style fries. The prices are also very fair. A good-sized Buffalo chicken sandwich for $7.99 is a steal these days.

The owner is super nice but the food is so so. The mac and cheese was good. The potato salad and cornbread were not bad. Coleslaw was watery. The chicken was salty and dry. I tried making crispy chicken salad out of the boneless wings and tenders to salvage what I paid for but just ended up throwing everything away. Place smells like old grease and that is how the chicken tastes as well. Honestly KFC on Washington Street has better tenders. Place could use a refresh or cleaning.

I was disappointed, pictures online are deceiving. Chicken was cooked in burnt oil and salty/garlicky. We didn’t get the sauce we ordered on the chicken, condiments were nearly dried up in the container. The “birds nest” variety of fries had no variety to it mostly regular fries. I’ll never order from this establishment again.

That chicken was fresh, the variety of option in sauces and their bird nest fries are good. I don’t even like sweet potatoe. They make it good here. The owner is a nice guy.

Hmmmmm Not to bad… not to good. I think for the amount of food is little to pricey. The chicken taste good. However i try the coleslaw and very disappointing to a point that is basically not coleslaw or at least not close to a real one, is too watery and big and thick pieces of cabbage.. if i order again it would ve just chicken.

So the food is from the freezer. The chicken is so salty it could give you an instant heart attack. The corn bread is not freshly made. The glazed carrots were awful. Not worth the money spent and time I spent waiting. Shut it down!

Had this place for lunch today and wasn’t let down. There was a wait for the food due to being such a large order. There were only 2 people on staff it seemed and they were nice. I suggest the pulled pork sandwich, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese

These guys didn’t put a single sauce we asked for. I specifically selected them 4 times and the food was all dry. Rotisserie chicken was burned, Shaw’s has way better chicken than this. Jumbo wings were very dry, too. It’s a no-go for us.
