Stopped in and was surprised to see a limited edition sauce, Korean BBQ. Also decided to try the chicken stripes for the first time. Bon Chon is always full of surprised. The thicker “strips” are better! The new sauce was really good and hope to see that one on the menu again.

Parking is in a parking lot right near the restaurant, which is in a strip mall. The entrance was doable if you are using an assistive device as long as someone can open the door for you. We went on a Friday evening and it was very busy however the staff did a very good job of keeping up. The restaurant was pretty small and a little cramped, so you better be ok with sitting near and overhearing other customers.

The food was good. Usually spicy food isn’t that spicy, but the spicy boneless wings had some kick that left my nose running a bit but nothing too crazy. The fries were very crispy and well worth it.

Don’t underestimate the spiciness, especially the Tteokkbokki. The chicken is cooked perfectly, crispy, juicy and flavorful. Service was quick and friendly. Food came out fast and hot.

Place just recently opened up and we had to go try it. The interior was obviously clean but fairly small. Prices were a bit high and they didn’t have a liquor license when I came in so none of the alcohol they had on their menu was available.

I’ve gone to Bonchon a total of 3x. First time was in Chicago a few years back. Wings were as advertised & worth the $30. Second time around was after Aurora opened its location a month or so ago, again same experience as the first. However, today I placed the same order as in the past and the wings were the size of wing-stop’s wings if not smaller. So needless to say that was disappointing, $30 and to not stay consistent. This was our third take out order of the 10-piece soy garlic chicken strips and all three times, they’ve been dry and burnt! Even without the breading, the chicken was tough! And the amount of cole slaw this location gives as a side order for carry out is a joke!
