Went here for a last minute dinner to avoid the rain. Online it looked like they just had apps at first, but they do have a full menu with large sized portions. The place wasn’t very busy, but it was raining Friday night 6pm. Staff was friendly and kitchen staff checked in with us on the food which was nice.

Fantastic food! My husband said why haven’t we come here to eat before? I don’t know but it will be our new spot.

Many years ago when I lived in Frederick, my family and I went to the Braddock Inn. We always had great fresh food. This is the place where I fell in love with their appetizer called Blackened Ahi Tuna!!!!! I have been trying and exploring all sorts of different things ever since!!!!! Just looked at their menu and I didn’t see the tuna appetizer on it.

What a great find! We decided to try this out Friday evening and we’re not dissappointed. At first we weren’t sure when we arrived due to it’s location off the path, but the restaurant is very cozy when entering. They had a great beer selection, I went with the flight to try the different beers they have from a brewery. Very good! Their menu is smaller, however it does not disappoint! The French fries were out of the world and my cheese steak sandwich was right off the grill when served. It’s flavor was also fantastic! We will be back for sure!

Cute little place, tucked away in a corner with fabulous food. I had their special, New Zealand Sea Bass, and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the steak n cheese sandwich and he loved it. My only issue was that my meal was salted a bit much, for my taste. Our server, Hana, was very attentive and accommodating. It’s an awesome place in a little town and we loved it. Definitely will go back. Highly recommend trying it if you’re in the area.

The atmosphere was inviting and warm: fireplace blazing, good music, friendly staff, excellent food. My wife and I feel very lucky because this is the closest place to our house. On our first visit we listened to the person (who turned out to be the owner) describe the special and it sounded good so we both had it. I also had the soup of the day and she had a salad with a special dressing that she found to be amazing. We shared a bottle of wine that was very good at a reasonable price. Long story short excellent food, wonderful people, affordable. We will definitely be back!

I got a veggie sandwich which was great! But the lady the seated us was not friendly. We went for my sisters wedding reception and there were a few more people than we thought. She was super rude about getting us a few extra chairs. I maybe could understand if they were busy but they weren’t. It wasn’t on a weekend.

I ordered from the brunch menu ( Eggs Florentine) and it was ok, nothing special. Potatoes were good though, good seasoning. Service was good, but not overly friendly. Atmosphere is nice but could be better as I notice the restaurant seems cluttered with items that seem to take away from the historic feel of the building. This place has great potential if they would have furniture and decor that blend in with the historic structure, not take away from it. I have been to many historic places and restaurants and Taverns from Williamsburg to New England and do this as a hobby and I was a bit disappointed with the Braddock Inn.

Always an excellent meal. Always interesting specials. Always fresh. Chef/owner comes out to see how we liked our meal almost every time we are there. Have used them to host larger events as well with great success. Give it a try. I am always more than satisfied.
