Really like Harold’s chicken but last visit was disappointing. The chicken I felt was overdone and ordered 20 piece dinner meal. Was told it didn’t come with fries we had to order separately. Why is it a meal then? If we are ordering that much chicken it could at least include a few fries. Probably won’t be coming back.

Wandered into this HCS to get a budget bargain. Got 3.99+tax 3psc dark, Soda, and slice of choco cake. Also got a A+ service smiles, warm n welcome and a little gab while I waited. The A+ was shown when my bladder was full, behold a clean and well kept little bathroom. And yes, I left it as I found it, Clean. I send my most grateful thanks for this kind of establishment. You do Harold good.

I asked for my chicken to be cooked soft because I have no teeth, but it was cooked hard. Everybody don’t like chicken cooked hard so please ask and do the order like they ask if you want them to come back me I won’t be back

The first thing I want to say is the young lady at the register and the woman who was cooking were very pleasant and professional but to make it even better the food was excellent it was definitely fresh and hot and they wasn’t stingy on the mild sauce or the fries like a lot of other Harolds I’ve been to. This Harolds gets 2 thumbs up from me!

Door dash- driver said employee was rude with a terrible attitude. No cole slaw was made and the number is incorrect so you can’t call in. I went against advise to patronize the Dyer harold’s instead, but now I know not to every patronize this location again. Good service is FREE and to not have it is a sure way to never get my money again.

I’m new to the area from Texas and I pass by this place every day. I was always told about Harold’s but was told not to eat at the one in Indiana and then I saw that the place closed. Well… I went to the location on South Holland and it took 40 minutes to get my two piece order which was so hot I could not eat it and they had drenched it in ketchup so by the time I got home, not only was it cold but it was soggy and I could not taste the meal itself because of all the ketchup (I had asked for it in the side)! This past week, I saw that the Harold’s in Hammond on the boulevard was being remodeled & painted & It has now re-opened and I just had to stop in today. The lemon pepper chicken w the fries is very tasty! Crispy on the outside and tender moist on the inside. Not greasy! It’s a cute little shack and they’re very friendly. You could also sit inside to eat even though it’s small. Give this place a chance like I did today and you won’t be disappointed! I WILL RETURN!!
