Taqueria Nueve is my favorite taco spot in Portland. Their tacos are all very traditional and they carry many varieties that other Portland taquerias do not. Their lengua tacos are my favorite and I find myself thinking about them often. The servers are all very accommodating and kind while providing excellent service. Please check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

They serve fresh tacos with homemade tortilla bread. Worth the try and recommend this place for vegetarian and meat lovers alike.

Unfortunately, their spin on Mexican food was uninspired and bland. The enchilada sauce actually comes from the cans you see everywhere in the restaurant and is just the least imaginative approach to this cuisine. I asked for medium salsa, they brought me red enchilada sauce (from the can). There were no redeeming characteristics to the food besides the fact that it was technically edible, but it wasn’t enjoyable unfortunately.

Awesome food and great service. As this is a Taqueria, the tacos are off the hook! There is quite the extensive selection of Tequila as well of you’re into it!

We have been many times and always enjoy our selves. Great cocktails and elevated Mexican food. Get anything with the brisket. The mole negro emalotas are fantastic.

Must try the Beef Suadero tacos (they are pretty close to the ones we have had in Mexico (but its a different cut of meat that is white but beef).

We went to a birthday party here and took 2+ hours from our reservation time to actually get food and then it was cold. We were then charged a $6 dessert fee with no warning to bring our own dessert. No problem if we were warned but even the staff admitted they didn’t tell anyone. Needless to say we won’t be back

Absolutely fantastic. Ordered a great tequila that I heard about when I was in Mexico – they had it. Not only that, they offered us an organic tequila that rivals the best we’ve had. The tacos were on point. Big fan of the mango salsa. 100% recommend.

Met a friend for happy hour. She said they had a great Caesar salad. Which they did. You can order a half salad too which I love. And I did. I saw later you can get ceviche on top which would be great. Next time. We had chips and guacamole with 3 housemate salsas and they were all tasty. I had a barbacoa taco and a calabacitas taco that had roasted spaghetti squash.so good! I had a pineapple margaritas with house infused chile tequila, and the el jefe, which is their version of a Cadillac. The bartender was very kind and knowledgeable as my friend sampled many of their mezcal selections. There were very many. It was good lots of seating inside and outdoors. Looking forward to. My next visit!
