This used to be one of my favorite Japanese stops when it was Helmi’s. I don’t know what has happened, whether it be new owners or new employees, but the food is horrible. I ordered a steak and shrimp entree. The steak was not edible, very hard and covered in some sort of sauce that usually doesn’t come on it. Almost as if they burned the steak and tried to cover it up. I always order my pet chihuahua a side of steak also, but it was so tough, she couldn’t even eat it. That’s really sad. Price has nothing to do with quality, whether it be the business owner or the customer. Don’t take folks money for this garbage. And with the economy the way it is right now, I won’t and for all who see this….. don’t waste your time, gas or money to ever eat here!!! Ridiculous

This place is just a rip off. We had a bad experience a few weeks back and we attempted to eat here again because my little boy enjoys teriyaki noodles. He couldn’t even eat them because most were hard as rocks. We had to pick through them to get all the hard pieces out just so he could eat. Not to mention that he barely got enough noodles to cover the bottom of the plate. We were told things in the restaurant would be worked on but that is just not the case. I hate leaving bad reviews but when your child cannot even enjoy their meal it is a problem. Save your money.

30 bucks for a steak and scallops plate and a chicken bowl. Chicken bowl was thrown in a togo plate. Rice and chicken was dry. Veggies looked like they had been sitting in hot bar for a while. Steak was subpar and no flavor, just drowned in sauce. The scallops were decent though. And properly prepared. Not sure how just these two items are $30 and some change by looking at the menu and adding 10% tax. Didn’t have sushi available either. Will not eat here again.

Not usually one to give bad reviews but this place has the worst service I have ever seen in my life. Completely messed up my order and then hung up in my face when I called to see if they would fix it. Don’t mind waiting 30 minutes in line for one meal while they stand around talking? Don’t mind driving back every single time because they mess up your order? Don’t mind rude staff? This is the place for you. I’m sure if it weren’t one of the only Japanese restaurants in Dillon this place would be out of business.

They sell sushi every day now, but it’s very bland. I had to put salt and pepper on it to give it some flavor! The rice was burnt and crispy as well.
