If a breakfast restaurant does the basics well, that’s a good sign. I ordered scrambled eggs, well done bacon, rye toast, and a fruit cup. The eggs were scrambled harder than I prefer and weren’t hot. The bacon and rye toast were prepared exactly as requested. I appreciated the way the fruit cup was prepared for easy eating. The servers Ruth and Marcel were pleasant and accommodating. The manager made the rounds to check our satisfaction level. We would return.

The Benedict eggs were delicious. The mimosas were more on the bitter side – more alcohol than I expected it to have. Staff was friendly. It does tend to get crowded here, but they have plentiful seating indoors and outdoors. Downside would be the parking availability, which is limited. Good atmosphere overall. Pricing is on the high side for the type of food you get.

I went here with high hopes. However, we ordered the tofu scramble with tater tots and received a spicy egg and turkey dish. When we explained that we didn’t receive what we’d ordered, the waiter insisted and pressured us into thinking that the dish we’d recieved was what we’d ordered. When we received the tofu scramble, it wasn’t a scramble, just cubed tofu and the tater tots were missing. I feel like we weren’t listened to at all. Nice atmosphere and location, but really poor service.
