Good flavor, not worth waiting 30 minutes. Definitely better than most BBQ restaurants in Georgetown.

Took 10 minutes to wait in line then another 34 minutes to get my food, there is only on person taking orders but they have an ample amount of people to call orders , they need better system in order to have happy guest . I also was told by the cashier I would be getting a combo but she didn’t give me a combo price. Very disappointing, better systems need to be in places! H‑E‑B needs to hire a person with restaurant skills to get this place going!

Sunday evening, got in the drive through line at 7:30pm. We did not reach the pickup window until 8:35pm. The team working the window had NO sense of urgency – no wonder it takes forever. We were told that they were out of bread, so the 1 meat plate we ordered would not have bread. What? Like grab a couple loaves off the shelf & make a note of it, but fill your orders, man. Opened the meal box at home to the shock that one thin slice of meat is what we were given for a “serving” of brisket. I expect more for $12.99. The other meal we ordered was mac & cheese with brisket. The brisket was way too salty. Yuck. I expected this to be better, H‑E‑B. Your money is better spent at a real BBQ restaurant.

I decided to try out the new HEB on the day of their grand opening on 6/7/2023. Crazy busy with a lot of great finds. Since I was there, I just had to try out their BBQ as well. Since I was inside the store, while there was a cart holding area, the line was really long due to the grand opening. So, I decided to load my purchases up in the truck and head around to the side to order food in the drive thru. While a lot of other people had the same idea, it went pretty quickly and smoothly. The food was great and there were a lot of options to choose from. The staff were super nice despite being so extremely busy. Kudos to the HEB staff.

Inside was clean and the restaurant team was kind and helpful. I got an order of to-go brisket nachos. The order was ready quickly as well. Nachos were delicious.

Sad. We had the brisket nachos the day after they opened & they were really good. Plenty of meat & queso. Just went through the drive thru to get some nachos. It was pretty fast, but the nachos were yuck! It had very little meat, mostly burnt (VERY fatty) ends and hardly any queso. The chips had just greasy fat all over them. The pic is of what was too greasy to eat & went in the trash. Disappointed.

Food was great! The chopped beef brisket sandwich was one of the best I’ve had and at a good price. The sliced brisket on the one meat plate was amazing (tender and tasty). The mac and cheese needs a little attention, not terrible just missing something. The beans WOW!! I will be going back for those for sure. Overall very satisfied by the food and we loved the second floor bar. The service needs some work but I am sure they are still working out the kinks since it’s so new. We waited a long time for our food but again we sort of expected it with it being new. Looking forward to going back once the crowds die down some. Really happy with our new store 🙂

Mac&cheese tasted horrible, cheap cheese flavor and mushy Texture, sausage sandwich was cold (like just outta the fridge cold) coleslaw was bomb tho, peach cobbler was good too (warmer than the sandwich), we had very high expectations about the place because it’s H‑E‑B but in this case everything was not better.

My family and I were eagerly anticipating eating here. The new HEB is absolutely epic! True Texas BBQ? Not so much. The atmosphere and decor are great, especially for a restaurant located inside a grocery store. The employees were friendly and efficient.

First we tried to use the app it would not work. Tried for about 2 hours that morning.. next I called to see if we could place it over the phone and the lady was rude and said they don’t do that and I seen that same rude lady in person with the gray hair and she wasn’t very nice. I agree with the person who said there’s only one person taking orders that’s beyond ridiculous. Should be at least three cashier stations or kiosk so you can place orders. The brisket was horrible.. it was so salty I couldn’t eat it and taste it like smoke.. no other depth of flavor. And the nachos had barely any cheese , just some salty meat on top and that’s it. The Mac and cheese with pulled pork was decent. Definitely won’t be ordering food from there again. Highly disappointing.
