This place is so much more than meets the eye! The tacos here are fantastic! The staff were so friendly and helpful. All of my tacos came with lime wedges and two different sauces on the side. To be honest, the tacos were perfect without them, but they definitely enhance the flavors! I’ve had the Koren BBQ, Al Pastor, Shrimp and Fish tacos. They were all very flavorful, but my favorite were the shrimp and fish tacos! The shrimp were cooked perfectly, with the right amount of seasoning, and the fish tacos *chefs kiss*. They were crispy, not greasy, and portioned generously with fish and toppings! I will 100% be returning to Highway 90 Tacos on my next trip to Uvalde!

My motorcycle riding group made a special trip out here to give Highway 90 Tacos a try and we were blown away by how delicious everything was. We tried the traditional street tacos, tacos Al pastor, the nachos, and corn cups – all of them were so tasty and fresh. The marinade for the pastor has the perfect amount of pineapple. Can’t wait to come back through here for another great lunch stop.

Not only good (really) tacos but awesome burgers. Try the jalapeño burger!! On the way to Big Bend, stayed in Uvalde just drove by saw the open sign and stopped. I would definitely return. Very hospitable!!

My husband and I were passing through on our way back from Big Bend and seen the great reviews online and stopped in to try them out. The service was outstanding and food was just as good! We shared a delicious cheese burger and tried a variety of diffrent tacos. Evreything very tasty, we will be coming here again!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Al Tacos Pastor were great. Fresh and tasty. Salsa Verde served with tacos was also nice. Limited drink selection, but you can see that from the online menu. I’ll be back if I’m in Uvalde at lunch time.

I really like this place: it has a homely atmosphere, lots of personality, and the food is top notch for Uvalde. Everything I’ve had here so far has impressed me. A bit more expensive than other places around, but in this case price is an indicator of quality. From staples like a cheeseburger, to some of the more creative items on their menu (try the Korean BBQ tacos!) everything is tasty and excellent. Highly recommend.
