Was good, messed up my burger (like I’m not even sure what burger they gave me) but my waitress immediately fixed after bringing it to her attention(although I didn’t get my food until everyone else was done, not her fault, kitchen issues) . Afford and quick. My sons enjoyed their meals.

Walked in and they sat us right away. They were busy as this was Saturday evening. Our waiter was friendly and pointed out some specials. Took our drink order and for the first time ever the milkshakes came out before our food. Usually we have to get them for carryout. Food was good but you get what you pay for!

This place is great so I don’t get why they don’t have a line out the door. $4.00 meals that are more than you need. Double with fries and a bowl of chili for $4.00, nobody has that going on. Tammi the waitress was working 13 tables and the counter and never missed a beat, hot food fast, refills, check on time. People are overlooking the value and the quality of the food. Great lunch place especially if you only have a little time.

Went there last week. Happened to be in the area after going to Home Depot. The food is fine for me unless I want something better like Red Lobster. I always get the worst waiter. I usually leave mad. Had to ask the young white guy for coffee twice because my waiter was nowhere to be found. He was doing a great job with his customers. I feel like telling them when I arrive, make sure you give me the worst waiter. I wouldn’t want to have a good time. You can tell they all think they are doing a great job. It won’t do any good to leave a good tip. They”re a bunch of dingbats.

Our experience was terrible. The waitress wouldn’t even walk around the table so we constantly had to pass everything down the table and figure out who it went to on our own, which is her job not ours. We couldn’t get a refill on our drinks and when she would come over to refill one she didn’t notice or care that everyone else needed refills. We waited about 45 minutes to even get our food then we had to wait for them to refill the cheese machine and brew more tea. Then our waitress went outside and sat in her car to smoke and when she came back in she didn’t even wash her hands. We noticed another employee outside sweeping the parking lot, smoking, came in, put the broom in the corner then grabbed food again without washing her hands, really makes your stomach turn after finishing your food. We ordered shakes to go and waited another 25 minutes to receive them. There was no issue with the staffing because there was plenty of employees standing around doing nothing for the whole 6 tables that were full. We go to other locations a lot and have amazing service but here was the worse service we’ve ever received at a Steak and Shake, we will never be back. I wish you could choose 0 stars or negative stars because they didn’t even deserve the 1 star that I had to choose. I noticed that almost every review on here was bad so it’s obvious that they don’t care but I hope my review keeps another family from having to deal with the same terrible service.

I’ve been there before and it was fine. But last night was terrible. Got food all wrong, they took forever to get a water so I could give my lo a drink after I asked specifically for it. I tried to get more food but they were closing and rushing around because people kept coming in since there was no sign saying that it was closing. I’ve never had such a bad experience at a steak n shake before. I was disappointed. I really hope it was just a bad night but IDK.

Waited 30 min before going to the front bar to inform them we hadn’t had our order taken yet. The place wasn’t busy. I hope it was a one time thing. Never had a problem at any other steak n shakes. Good food just had to go back up to get dipping sauce that we requested three different times
