So we stopped here due to the fact that we have been to the one in south carolina and had a great experience. We got in around 5 it was only our party of 5 and a 3 top before us. Then the flood gates opened and their inside seating filled up with about 6-7 more tables. Their manager came from the kitchen and helped start the tables coming in with drinks and the sampler platter. Our server was very friendly and she was working the tables as best as she could. When the second server came in her whole vibe and body language was just negative. And you could just tell she didnt want to be there at all. So our food order was taken about 25 min after sitting and after some of the smaller tables got taken care of. As we waited for our order, tables that came in after us had eaten and were starting to leave. We finally got our food we wanted more bread however when we asked the 2nd server how many were in a basket we never got the answer. 15 min later we got bread from our server at which time we also order baby beignets. They made them to order however they were the regular ones and not what we wanted. We ended up just cancelling them. It was now 7p.m. and we had to get on the road. We did receive 10% off for a military discount. All in all we were excitied to go but so so disappointed in the results. The manager and the original server as well as the 2 other kitchen staff were trying their best i will give them that. I probably wont visit this location for a bit , but hopefully i will give them another try.

Loved the atmosphere and decor! We received a chef sample to try out six different dishes. I went with the Lobster Bisque and it was delicious! We also ordered fried okra for an appetizer. Fast service and great food!

I’ve gone twice and the flavors are as strong as anywhere in North Carolina! They give 6 free samples for you to try, every visit. It’s the only place I’ve gotten crayfish in the area as I couldn’t find it elsewhere, and it was in the free sample. From the appetizers to the main dishes to dessert, this place is amazing! The staff also recognized me on my second visit! This is one of the places I’ll really miss next week when I’m living in Texas. The food is great, as are the people, and I’ve been to way more expensive places that don’t have anywhere near the great taste! Everyone is great at their job and honestly I hate that I found arguably the best restaurant in North Carolina a little before leaving. I would recommend a dish, but there are too many great ones here, so I would suggest going several times!

After seeing a coworkers plate, we decided to try The Lost Cajun out. We were greeted at entrance. We were also given some samples as we hadn’t eaten in the restaurant before. We ordered a sampler, oyster plate, and lobster bisque. To our surprise the portions of food are small for the price. The food was good but not for the price. The service was inconsistent. At one point only the cook was in the restaurant with us. I am unsure if we will try this restaurant again.

Good Cajun food here but small portions. When they seat you they put beads on your neck, kinda like New Orleans Style then they bring a sampler with all the different types of gumbo etc. It’s pretty neat. The Lobster bisque was delicious. Service was okay, we had two waitresses but one left and then the other one took a break and we were left with the cook helping us at the end.

So to be honest me and my wife were sooo excited to get to this place and that went down hill very quick. Side bar our server Sloan read awesome now on to the main topic as a local guide we go to many different places and this by far is a place where you order and expect to get one thing and receive something totally different. We order a seafood platter and a shrimp and fish platter along with gator bites.

Server was attentive and courteous. It was only one cook and our food came out timely. I got the shrimp and grits and they were hot and flavorful! My family enjoyed their food as well especially the Voo Doo dish with sausage and shrimp. Only complaint was that it was really cold.

I was having a craving for Cajun food and since we don’t have any restaurants in High Point that could satisfy that craving, we drove 40 minutes to Burlington to try out this place. It was worth the drive. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. I love how they started by giving us a little sampler tray that allowed us to try the various gumbo’s, etouffee, lobster bisque, and red beans. The gator bites and shrimp and grits were delicious. Love the mini beignets better than the large ones at Café Du Monde! We will definitely be making the drive back again.

Great experience! Loved the food and the service was good. I’ve eaten gator before, but this tasted much better. The chef and staff were all friendly and explained the menu since it was our first time there. The beignets were large sized, fresh, hot and loaded with powdered sugar. Their lunch specials were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointing…we were excited to try a new place but must have caught it on an off day. My son ordered a sampler plate but we were told 20 mins after ordering that they were out of oyster (the whole reason he wanted that dish). We had already been waiting so long, we agreed to just have extra shrimp and fish but neither of those were that great and the plate still cost us $15. I asked for lettuce for my sandwich and got a small sample cup of browning iceberg. They had to-go containers sitting out in the main dining area and I inferred that there were there for guests to grab as needed but the waitress jumped all over us when we took one. I would recommend moving those if you don’t intend for people to grab them. All in all, not a great experience for what we paid.
