Stopped by on a whim for a little snack. The food was all delicious, the space was incredibly clean and pleasant to look at. I loved the open style kitchen. If it wasn’t so far from home I’d visit every week!

My husband and I really loved this establishment. He often misses tastes of his South American roots now that he lives her and everything he said tasted authentic. I loved that their were vegetarian options. The coffee is what dreams are made of. The service top notch, and I love that you can sit inside and watch the magic of the kitchen. It was a smidge pricey, but the quality makes it worth it.

Fantastically expensive for dry, bland, and small empanadas. For example, their lunch special* pricing is 2 empanadas, a salad and cup of soup for $22.

It pains me to write a bad review for a food that I love, but this place gives empanadas a bad name. I got three. The beef one was great, the ham and cheese was poorly filled and the third was yucky.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food (in my opinion) was a bit pricey. I do like Argentinian empanadas and have bought many in New Jersey. The typical Argentinian empanada is about double the size of the ones available here. Don’t get me wrong these were very tasty. We had the spicy beef, spicy chicken, spicy corn, onion, leeks and cheese empanadas. However, after a number of empanadas, coffee, a drink and one dessert up to $90. If you can afford this place you’ll probably love it. It is wheelchair accessible and very open. It includes seating inside and outside. Again, other than the price the places extremely clean and the staff are super nice. I gave them four stars because they were wheelchair accessible and had pretty decent food.

I went for a late lunch and got the Argentinian special which was 2 empanadas and a salad for $12.XX. The salad was quite interesting, as it was filled with flavors that I’d never tasted before. The chicken empanada was ok, tasted a bit dry. The 2 pastries I purchased were delicious. The mini pie pastry was made with a fruit filling of 2 different fruits.

Jezabel’s is simply one of my favorite places in Philly. Empanadas might sound like a humble basis for a cafe, but only if you’ve never had the empanadas here. The standard selection is great, but the real selling point is the specials that periodically appear, from Spanish omelettes to quince tarts and exceptional quiches. The reliably exceptional quality encourages me to try each new thing that appears in their display.

Great place to grab a quick bite or to stay to study or catch up with a friend. They sell empanadas and salad and other yummy food. There chicken empanadas are delicious. They have vegetarian options which is also a bonus. The decor is bright yellow with cold and wood. I like the vibe. The staff is kind. I visited in order to study for the GRE and it was quiet but the times there were a lot of people I didn’t mind because I just plugged in my headphones. The menu is a little pricy – $3 for an empanada which I would get for 20 cents on the DR but the price is what it is for the location and ambiance. I think my favorite feature is that they have a recycling, landfill and compost bin. I do not mind the price knowing they are environmentally conscious. Love it!!!

Went here for brunch and it was excellent. Really love the open kitchen concept. It was cool seeing your food being made and eating empanadas fresh out of the over. All the pastries were delicious as well. Staff was attentive and friendly..I would most definitely recommend Jezabel’s if you want to try authentic Argentine baked goods.
