I haven’t been here in a couple years, and decided to stop in today. I got the smoked sausage dog with fries, and a brisket slider. The sausage dog reminded me of the polish sausage dogs from the fair. It was delicious!! The fries were hot and fresh, and the brisket slider was good as well… They packed a good bit of meat on that miniature bun. I have tried the bbq plates in the past, and they are good as well. The lady at the window was really sweet, and I like their slogan, “Made with Love” ❤️

Great food, super friendly people, generous portions and a good price! Definitely check them out if you’re passing through or parked nearby. The po boy was delicious and huge, the fries were great. The brisket and crawfish bites are also very good!

Too bad they dont have 6 stars as an option. I got the crawfish ettouffe and its fantastic. The gals there were really friendly and service was fast. I got the praline bread pudding for dessert. Should make for a good rest after. Thank you.

I had to give my reviews here. My wife and I came by a week ago. Let me tell you everything we ordered was delicious and that’s an understatement. The lady handed my wife the food she said this food was cooked with love ❤️. Yes, it was. My wife got large sides with her meal and downsized on the meat portions. We ordered two rib plates, sides, red beans and rice barbecue baked beans, and potato salad. Next time, we’re both getting large sides the best red beans I ever tasted and barbecue baked beans on point. Keep up the excellent service and great food. I will be back whenever in Hammond LA.

These people act like they are slow can not comprehend a simple order it was extremely draining. I absolutely love this place and come every time I get the chance. The red beans and rice with sausage or chicken and potato salad with cornbread is to die for! I’m sorry I don’t have pictures of that full plate but I eat it all as soon as I get it. I drove from all over to get this food at this exact location every time I can.

Food is probably better than your mommas. Hot & FRESH even after walkingback to my truck parked at the Pilot…… service was friendly, helpful & expeditious…… huge portions, definitely worth the $. Every time I slide through Hammond, I will gladly give them my business. THANKS YA’LL!
