Before I wrote this I double-checked, it is labeled as a Thai restaurant for the record. So…it’s very good food, but it’s not traditional Thai food. None of the dishes we had struck me as Southern Thai, which is what I’m used to, but they were all very good. Everything tasted very fresh and was beautifully made. I personally do not enjoy oysters but everyone was raving about them and even I can tell a pretty oyster when I see one.

Talat Market is a Thai experience. The best Thai food I have had in Atlanta. The food is delicious and soulful. The menu is exciting and fresh. The atmosphere has a very relaxed, hip vibe, and its location is a surprise. They have outdoor seating and a large dining room and bar. The soundtrack adds to the cool vibe of the place. The staff, including the server, are delightful and helpful, making the experience enjoyable. If you’re looking for a Thai culinary adventure in Atlanta, Talat Market is worth checking out, and you won’t be disappointed.

An overwhelmingly meh dining experience. I was really excited when I found this place on Instagram. The food looked and sounded amazing. The way presentation was the best part of the meal. All look, no flavor. I ordered the salmon which was overcooked, dry, and very fishy tasting as if it wasn’t fresh. My friend ordered the chicken which came out slightly undercooked, rubbery, and very hard to separate from the bone. Both dishes were extremely bland. The rice sides both Jasmine and sticky rice were dry as a bone. The cocktails were beautiful and tasted okay. The service was slow. They forgot our drinks and sides and we had to remind them. The atmosphere was nice. Lovely interior design, pleasant outdoor patio. Overall, this was good-looking, overly bland, overpriced food and drinks. Nothing to write home about.

This place is amazing! Visited for a quick dinner of four before. Impressed. We went back again this past weekend party of seven, busy Saturday evening. The staff was very accommodating from our waiting area to the table. Every person that stopped by to bring a drink, bring a plate or take one really made an impression. The small details matter. Taste to presentation. The spicy papaya salad is my favorite dish but there are plenty of other great dishes on the menu. Thank you, Aileen and friends. We will be back.

A friend of mine and myself have been waiting to go Talat for a long time! It was absolutely worth the wait. The food was absolutely amazing. The crispy rice salad and the green curry were fabulous. The cocktails were excellent and you can tell they put a lot of effort into flavor combinations. Would highly suggest going to Talat and enjoying the complete experience.

Believe the hype about this place. Menu may seem limited but everything we ordered was superb! The flavors are all crisp, interesting and delicious! Also, cocktails were on point! One of the places I’ve been for the first time where I’m already looking forward to the next time I go there.

I wish there were 5 more stars to give this place! The food here is absolute perfection. The oysters were cold and fresh but the sauce provided with it was phenomenal. The crispy rice salad is my new all time favorite dish as it has all the flavors – sweet, salty, savory, bitter – and left me confused with how rice can be that light and crunchy. The spiny lobster was the perfect finish to our dinner. Light charcoal taste, big lobster flavor and that same sauce served with the oysters!! The sticky rice and lettuce were a great accompaniment! And my god – the cocktails – boozy but tasty and beautiful. Can’t wait to come back!!
