HOME FARMING
Very clean inside, wait staff courteous and helpful, ice tea was clear, clean, crisp not like that creepy cloudy stuff at some places, brisket good and moist, potatoes needed milk and butter, beans were poured out of a can- no onions or mollases or jalepeno – beans needed a boost. Sauces are straightforward. Prices were reasonable. At least I feltI was getting real food- perhaps a little uninspired .

Server was fast and friendly. Nachos were cold with generic cheese sauce and skimpy on the pulled pork. Mac and cheese was mushy and bland, beans straight from a can it seems. Cornbread was bland and tiny. The bright spot was the brisket, it was truly delicious.

I travel for work and I’ve eaten barbecue from Alaska to Florida and I have no idea how the ratings are so high at at this place the brisket was absolutely disgusting tasted like it was days old and was 90% fat (I ordered lean as possible brisket) the green beans were some what edible the baked potato was actually pretty good. Save your money and go get a sub from Kroger’s. I wouldn’t feed this garbage to my dogs.

Ordered the Brisket Supreme, it was absolutely amazing! Definitely some of the best brisket I’ve ever had! The sweet potato fries were amazing as well! Everyone was patient and friendly. Will definitely be eating here again and certainly suggest stopping in!

The lady who seated us had one HELL of an attitude. Threw the menus across the table and walked off. But the food? Oh God was the food to DIE for. If you are in the area or live there, try it. Don’t let the angry waitstaff defer you.

As someone who travels constantly – first off, the service was amazing. Lightning fast and attentive. Natalie is to be applauded for being a great asset to the Smokin’ Jo’s team. Fantastic BBQ. Had the full rack of ribs, baked beans, Mac-n-cheese and the Porky’s fries as an appetizer. Won’t hesitate to stop back on future trips to the Sidney area. Made my day. Well worth the price. Thanks!
