Good place for Mexican food. I had the burrito Guadalajara with chicken and it was huge. Definitely get your moneys worth. It was flavorful and I liked the tomato sauce on the outside. They start you with chips and salsa and the salsa has a bit of spice, but I still enjoyed it. We also got guacamole which was also good. Overall would recommend!

I really didn’t want to give a lower rating but I couldn’t give it a higher rating either. I write this review as someone who grew up with authentic Mexican cuisine at home. First off, there’s a weird smell in the air, like an open drain. Could just be me because I have a very sensitive sense of smell. I noticed they had chilaquiles on the menu which is why I chose to stop here, but after tasting the chips (stale) and salsa, I had to ask to try the sauce before ordering said chilaquiles… unfortunately there wasn’t much flavor in the sauce it just tasted like the pepper flavor. I opted for the Carne asada tacos instead, they were fine but a little small on the meat portion. My partner had the burrito, which is large. The only thing that I really liked here was the horchata. The girl who served us seemed like she wanted to do everything fast even though we were the only 2 in the room for a whole hour.

Fabulous! I’m glad I stopped in! The food was so flavorful, fresh and came out quickly. Portion sizes are large and my dish came with plenty of corn tortillas the salsa and guacamole were also fantastic! Thank you

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Staff are knowledgeable and can make great recommendations for newcomers like me. The waiters and waitresses were committed to great service and were very friendly. Excited to see El Guadalajara grow as a business definitely holding this family owned restaurant as one of the gems I’d like to come back to from time to time as I am a local and have been lucky enough to eat at some of the best restaurants throughout Wisconsin I will say this one left and impression very dedicated people curious to see what they come to in future.

Best Mexican food in Appleton. My boyfriend and I had guacamole to start which was absolutely phenomenal, and then each got the Burrito Guadalajara. Best burrito I’ve ever had, honestly. I can’t think of anything better. Authentic and came out hot and fresh. The server even had the kitchen make my boyfriend homemade extra spicy hot sauce and brought it out for us within minutes. Will definitely be back again!

The food here is as authentic as it gets in this area! My favorite is the Burrito Guadalajara. Delicious MARGARITAS with a unique twist (Tajin instead of salt if you want!)! Or enjoy authentic Jarritos or homemade “aguas naturales” (Jamaica, Horchata and Tamarind). They have a great selection of Mexican beers as well. Oh and for dessert? Fried ice cream!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Guadalajara restaurant. The staff members were friendly, and attentive. The dishes were perfectly seasoned, and had a good balance of flavors. One thing that impressed me was that the food wasn’t overly salted. It’s refreshing to find a restaurant that knows how to season its dishes just right.

New place food is on point nice friendly people no liquor license yet so you can get Mexican soda or homemade flavored water Horchata, Jamaica and Tamarindo i had the chorizo con queso appetizer then carnitas taco,pastor taco and quesabirria.
