The first time me and my husband went here it was great. Service and all. The second time we were so disappointed. We got our drinks and ordered our food and no one came back until we got our food and then we never seen anyone again. We eventually did get our bill. They were cleaning as if it was closing time and it was 6pm and it said they didn’t close until midnight. My husband actually got my refill himself because the pop machine was right by our booth. Lol. The garlic bread is so good. But the potato pizza left more to be desired. My husband did like his buffalo chicken pizza. There was also a table down from us who had to go get someone to actually come take their order.

We visited here with a party of 8 people. Our server was polite and attentive (Elijah). We wanted to have red wine with our pizza , but they said they were out ( even though it is offered on the drinks menu). Salad lettuce was not fresh , but the pizza was good. Wet floor signs and mops sitting around on the floor , gave the restaurant a seedy feel. Average dining experience, nothing special.

I’ve never had a worse experience with a restaurant manager in my life. Typically a huge fan of the food, but the one time they messed up my order so bad the manager was beyond rude and hard to deal with just because I was trying to redeem a credit. I will NEVER go back. He kept making gestures and air quotes as if I was lying about a credit they had placed on my account because it couldn’t be found. So Byron, if you hate your job that much, find a new one. You can’t treat people the way you do and expect to be successful not in business or life. Coming from a person who runs restaurants you have a lot to learn and I hope for this restaurants sake they find someone who won’t continue to chase business away!

Our first mistake was ordering delivery, apparently. They outsource 3rd party on their website through DoorDash, which is finicky at best, so this isn’t entirely Pizza Cottages fault. However, it took about two hours for us to have our food delivered when I was quoted at 45 minutes for my delivery time. A little annoying but not that big of a deal. Most places, especially those with a large dine-in area like Pizza Cottage have heat lamps/ heating cabinets for food to sit and stay remotely warm whilst waiting to be picked up. However, our food was apparently not placed in/under either of these. Stone cold and unpleasant by the time we finally received it. Unfortunate, since the flavor for the sauce was great and there was a decent amount of topping on our items. Long story short, just don’t get delivery here until they get their own drivers or stop outsourcing through doordash specifically. Had the food been hot, it would’ve been a whole different experience.

The prices are reasonable. Service was good! Our food would have been better if it wasn’t baked so long. The pizza and breadsticks were dark brown in places both times we’ve been there. Maybe that’s their “thing”, I don’t know.

Pizza Cottage is decent, but it has been my experience that nothing I’ve had there isn’t something I’ve had better elsewhere in town (pizza, subs). I do like the atmosphere inside which has ample booths and it feels kind of private making it a relaxed place to grab lunch. They also have TVs in the booths if that is your thing. One high point is that they have David’s cookies which are really good.
