What an excellent spot! I was beyond impressed by the food and the service at Flying Fish. I can say without a doubt they serve the best oysters I’ve ever had. Additionally, their fish and chips and salmon sandwich are top notch.

My buddy took my wife and I here to eat dinner since she wanted some fish. This place gets busy so be ready to wait if you want to dine inside or outside. It’s basically street parking here so just look for a spot. We came around 8ish and when I checked in, I was told the wait could be about 1hr to dine outside. They said we can wait at the oyster bar area if we want. I didn’t know there was an option to sit inside where it’s open seating. So we walked in and were able to find a seat near the window. We started off with the Kinilaw Ceviche which tasted like a lao dish to me. For our entrée, my wife and I went for their fish tacos. My friend got their shrimp taco and we also ordered their Clam Chowder. The ceviche came out pretty quick, our tacos took a little longer probably because they were frying the fish. You get a decent size of fish in your tacos so it will be fulfilling. I thought the fish tacos were alright, my friend loves his shrimp tacos. They also give you a big size of clam chowder for the price you paid but it wasn’t our favorite dish here. It tasted different from other places we tried but we think it was the bacon that alter the taste. The customer service we received here was awesome and our waiter was attentive with us.

Pretty good fish and chips! The chips were 5 stars for sure. The fish portion of the meal had kinda a lot of batter only bites. With that said, everything was tasty. Looking forward to checking out the retail space inside.

Food is good, friendly employees- only thing I would like improved is to clarify open hours for the restaurant portion of the business – the market and restaurant have different hours but are under same business listing- had to wait an hour because of that. No mention of restaurant hours on the google page. They open at 12pm noon. You have to order first and pay first at the cashier counter and there can be discrepancies for special orders because the notes are simple.

Fish and chips were great. Burger was not bad, but it’s a fish restaurant, so that’s too be expected. Make sure you order at the front desk and are not just sent to your table… Otherwise, you’ll just sit there waiting…and waiting…

Fantastic trout sando. Pfriem Pils to pair. Very nice shaded outdoor seating area. Enjoyed! However, would have enjoyed assistance with further beer purchase at table while hands were full of sando as well. Having said that, though they would have made more from me in that event, perhaps you have to go back over to the greeters table, where you make your initial order before sitting down, to order more. Will find out next time. All said, so so so good.
