We were so scared to try but it was actually good and clean. Green beans were actually cooked, and not rubbery like so many Chinese tend to cook their vegetables. The chicken was decent and I think it was mixed dark meat if you don’t mind that.

Pretty basic Chinese buffet food. Decent but nothing spectacular. Some items such as fried rice, crawfish (almost completely flavorless), green beans, Mongolian Beef, fried potatoes and broccoli chicken lacked any real flavor. The mozzarella stick was the main problem for me… it was mush…The “egg roll” was cabbage inside an egg roll wrapper… that’s it. The fried shrimp was good as was the chicken with spicy sauce and the lemon chicken. The coconut shrimp was under sweet and the sesame chicken was overly sweet. I would say the food was a 3.8 out of 5, the service and cleanliness was a 4.5 out of 5.

So glad we have a Chinese buffet in Jasper. It was delicious. Most everything was fresh just a chicken wing my hubby ate was a bit older but that’s being said we didn’t eat till 3 and they were refreshing the dishes.

Going in you get seated and your drinks brought to you, which normally you have to get your own drink at most buffets. The food selection is not huge but to pick a few out, the Mongolian beef, crawfish, the shrimp and vegetables, fresh steamed rice, as well as fried rice, and the chicken on a stick are very good picks. I’m not a huge vegetable fan so I can’t vouch for those, but overall what I got was good. There is also a self serve ice cream and sherbet station, along with fresh fruit and dessert which tasted amazing! Definitely a great place to come if your looking for something relatively cheap (was about $30 for 2) and pretty good!

Golden Bowl has a very clean atmosphere and friendly staff. Pricing was fair. (For 3 ppl it was $35) Not alot of food selection to choose from, but it still hit the spot. Our waitress kept drinks full & checked on us several times. They have a few flavors of ice cream to choose from. Finding the parking lot is a little tricky. Turn into BK & go up the hill into the parking lot.
