Visited for the first time yesterday; great experience. I’m no expert on Cuban food but have had my fair share in Miami and the Keys. For me, this was up there with the best of them. Small but comfortable dining area, nice decorations and the music matches the food! Now I know where to go when I want to feel like I’m in Miami (which is any time).

Finally! Someone who sells a Cuban sandwich that knows how to make a Cuban sandwich! The bread was just phenomenal. The little crunch as you bite into it gives way to a soft, fresh baked textured interior, warmly embracing perfectly seasoned pulled pork and sliced ham. Yum!

I had a tasty Cuban sandwich, a guava cream cheese pastry, and a Cuban cream soda. Everything I tried was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Next time, I would like to try the beef empanadas and plantains. They looked really good.

I have been craving latin food and have been spoiled with a delicious restaurant in North Florida. The Cuban Guy is better than the restaurant at home! The sampler was a phenomenal sampling of Cuban food. I was uber impressed with everything I ordered, though the beans and rice could have been a little more flavorful.

Maria is SO sweet. Everyone that worked there was so pleasant. We chatted since I am also Cuban coming from Florida. The food is authentic! She has the best guava and cheese pastelitos I have ever had! If you’re in the area or driving through, do yourself a favor and stop here!

I cannot rate this high enough. Fantastic food, exemplary service. Friendly, funny staff. I love Cuban sandwiches, but I’ve never had one, until I had one at the Cuban Guy. I come in from Tennessee often, and I will stop here every time.
