The adobada and piccodillo tacos were two of my favorite items for lunch and I enjoyed their flavorful salsas and mix of veggies to go with the tacos. Definitely worth visiting! They’re a James Beard Foundation semi finalist 2023 and I can definitely see why! There is some seating near the food truck – limited shade. Slight surcharge – .65 for use of credit card.

Absolutely hands down the best Mexican food in Santa Fe. I’m a food snob with very high standards and this place always was wonderful and delicious. It’s not fine dining or anything fancy, just extremely good food that’s very consistent. The burritos are the best I’ve ever had anywhere including Mexico. The Mr. Polish is a masterpiece and delicious. You can’t go wrong with this place, it’s in my top 3 restaurants in Santa Fe out of about 80 places I’ve tried over the years.

Me and my girlfriend are from Denver, Colorado and eating good mexican food kind of anywhere is a hit or miss. I can completely say El Chile Toreado blew me away. I got a bacon and chorizo breakfast burrito and it was made authentically. The sauces were absolutely homemade and phenomenal! 5 stars all day!! Customer service a 5 star too, super nice people.
