I had a hearty brunch at this place. Very tasty food. They roast their coffee. It smelled good.

Had an overall amazing experience here, seated immediately on a busy Sunday brunch hour, and food came out quickly as well. Dog friendly, brought my pup water in a bowl without even having to ask. Will be back in the future.

Omelet was good. Service was quite slow both before order was taken and getting food delivered to table. Server was pleasant, apologized and did comp a muffin and gave a bag of granola on the house. Not sure why the service was delayed. I’ll be back to eat here again to give the service another chance.

We were seated after 15 minutes. We ordered Eggs La Jolla which is one of the benedicts with balsamic mushroom, spinach and roasted tomato. Also ordered the Morning Glory Sandwich which had an egg, bacon, gouda, tomato, onion and arugula. It was a smaller sandwich especially for the price. I also ordered a coffee drink, it just took super long for it to come out and was 10 minutes after all the other drinks came out. The kitchen seemed to be super slow our food came out over 40 minutes from ordering and the establishment was not packed at all. Our server brought a complementary Coffee Cake which was a nice gesture (we didn’t mention anything about the time, she just gave it to us) but it was super dry. Overall the food was alright, small portions, backed up kitchen. I would not recommend or return to this location.

My wife had been to the La Jolla location and always raves about it. This was so cool that we were simply out and stumbled across this location. Here is my quick review:

I went to brunch here with a friend around 11am, when we arrived there was no wait. It was almost full but we were seated right away. The food was good, I got the Monterey Scramble.

This place is the bomb for yummy upscale cafe food. I used to frequent the del mar location, glad they opened one closer to me. They could use better tea selections but the crab cake melt is delicious! Lots of outdoor dining space. 15 minutes wait on a busy Saturday afternoon.

A quaint place with great food and service. Their menu is decently wide spread yet, focused! Ample parking and minimal wait time are a big plus. Since this place is located towards the end of the strip mall, it took us couple of minutes to locate this place.

I walked in at 11:00am on a weekday….plenty of open seats and just stood there while staff walked by and no one seated me. After 5 minutes of standing by the sign “please wait to be seated”….I walked out.

When I was there for Saturday brunch, people seemed to really be enjoying themselves, and many seemed like regulars . It’s clearly homemade, high-quality quality food. My favorites were the warm scones with strawberry compote, the braised beef hash, and the 3 cheese tart.
