They have the most fresh delicious pastries! I had fresh croissants, one was turkey pepper jack, and swiss jam. They were pretty Amazing…coffee was pretty good and there were plenty of spaces to set up your laptop.

Great spot, great location, great coffee. Nice place to hang out with a good book or good friend or both. Very warm interior with lots of comfy places to sit. Baked goods looked good but didn’t have.

Not so great barista. I watched her make my caramel frap, and she underestimated the large size cup pretty badly. Was about 2/3 full, and then to fix the issue she filled the rest of the way with whipped cream. I told her I saw her add lots of whip cream, and she just said yep as if it’s super normal. Probably won’t go back, but it does taste good, so I’ll give 1 star.

Cute shop. The Barista was nice, and it wasn’t super busy when we went. They have lunch, sweet treats, coffee beans and souvenirs. Also they have smoothies or hot chocolate for the littles. Was about the same price as Starbucks but, with a better atmosphere and better coffee.

I usually have great experiences here when I’m in town. I love the frappe. I’ve been coming here for years when I pass through.

From Phoenix, Arizona we ❤️ visiting Pagosa Springs! Higher Grounds Coffee is quaint serving up popular coffee choices. All of the food is made in house and is delicious, even my husband likes eating here. Today we had a bagel sandwich, quiche, strawberry smoothie, drip coffee, then a gluten free zucchini muffin and cinnamon roll for the road . We highly recommend stopping by!

Everytime we visit Colorado we come here regularly. Great coffee, lots of gluten free options, and the burrito with green chili changed my life! Good place to hang out as well.

Wow, that was good!! Ordered a simple bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit – good stuff for sure. The biscuit was main from scratch and was amazing.

Place was packed at 10am on a Friday. (both inside and out) They even had a guitarist singing tunes which you rarely see so early in the day. Ordered a cortado (perfection) and my guest ordered an ice coffee. Definitely a supporter of small businesses that also care for their craft. As we were walking out, the line was almost out the door.
