Our breakfast this morning was not up to Hy-Vee standards. The Sweet Cream Waffle was nothing more than a Belgian waffle, only this waffle was soft and not crisp on the outside. The butter pats were cold and hard and not spreadable. The eggs my husband ordered were not over hard, but a well done version of over easy. His potatoes were not hot, as if they had been scooped out of a container of pre-fried potatoes. We hope the next time we visit, the cooks will not be in such a hurry, though it wasn’t crowded.

Had a terrible time. Long wait for cold food. Not busy, just slow service. They gave me a 10 dollar gift card to use as apology. Came back today, guess what they won’t take….that is not valid for here. YOU GAVE IT TO ME! Lesson learned.
