Located in the charming town of Pentwater, Antler Bar offers a warm and friendly atmosphere that brings the community together. The bar provides a decent selection of drinks and the service staff are welcoming and attentive. The food menu is solid, with well-prepared pub fare that satisfies most appetites. Although it may not be the most cutting-edge or glamorous establishment, it makes up for it with its authentic, local vibe. Overall, the Antler Bar is a great spot to unwind and socialize with friends and family, earning a solid 4-star rating.

I went to this establishment the other night I ordered an appetizer of mozzarella sticks which were fine, but they had hot oil inside of them that burned my mouth. When I got to my main course a Mushroom Swiss burger it wasn’t a Mushroom Swiss burger at all. The mushrooms were canned mushrooms that had been heated up but not really cooked. The onions were raw and they had put a ton of pickle slices along with ketchup and mustard all over it. I’ve never seen a mushroom swiss burger with pickles, ketchup, and mustard on it. We asked the waitress about it, but she just said that’s the way they make it with a snarky attitude. So if you want a mushroom swiss burger you might just be getting a regular cheese burger with some mushrooms thrown on it and I hope you like pickles.

We stopped in for a later snack as this was one of the only placed to get food at that time (9pm on a Saturday night). They serve until 10:30pm. We had the spicey cheese curds (which were actually quite spicey), the taco platter (the beans were cold, but the rest was good), and a spinach walnut salad. Everything was generally good, and the service was great. It was certainly MUCH cleaner than the Brown Bear across the street, which we had for lunch earlier in the day.

Group of 7. Short wait. They phoned us when the table was ready. Great service! Delicious food. Highly recommend! Salads were fresh. Burgers done to liking.

Great food. Try the nachos, the hot sauce is HOT! Service was excellent. It’s a little loud but it is a bar and grill so that was expected.

A decent bar in Pentwater that has a pretty good selection of drinks and food that’s good for an easy night along the Lake Michigan coast

This place is amazing. My burger was PERFECTION. It was a little loud but everyone was very friendly. They even found me a discreet place to feed my baby. I’ll be going back again with my family

I was disappointed after reading the reviews. If you are looking for a nice dinner experience , you have to remember that this is a bar/restaurant. The food was good but but the atmosphere is horrible. They play a juke box non stop and it is so loud, everyone in the restaurant has to yell just to have a conversation, which in turn, makes it even louder. I was at dinner for Father’s Day and couldn’t even hear my wife and kids talking sitting across from me. I asked the waitress if they could turn it down but they didn’t. This noise might not bother some people, but I will not be returning.

We went here as a group. Upon arrival we were told it was about a 20 minute wait. We waited for about 20 minutes and they called us. We go in and they sit us at this small table located under the stairs. The waitress showed up about 5 minutes later and took our drink orders. We waited for about 10 minutes and got our drinks and then ordered food. We then proceeded to wait for another hour (with a little baby that didnt want to be sitting ) until we finally got our food. We watched people that came in AFTER us get food BEFORE us and waited for a good 20 more minutes before our food arrived. I’ve worked as a cook in a very busy restaurant and I know first hand what our meals take to make and it should have been out in 15 minutes no matter how busy you guys were. The waitress was snotty because we were getting irritated by the end of it all. HELLO, you guys SUCK. Wouldn’t recommend you to anyone. Also the food was average, and the chicken in the quesidilla taste like canned chicken! It got thrown away.

Recent small changes have made this place even better! The food has been amazing for longer than I can remember. My family has spent their summer vacations up here for generations and we always save a night for dinner in Pentwater.
