Visited on a Thursday evening with a group of 4 – not very crowded. Great views and service was very good.

We enjoyed happy hour at El Sabor. The Margheritas were very good and the view was spectacular! But we had the Nachos de Sabor (loaded Nachos) and they were EXTREMELY salty! I would suggest you ask them to go light on the salt if you order.

We stayed at Lionshead, so we naturally had to try El Sabor, which is in the same building. I definitely recommend the patio in the summer- fantastic view overlooking the ski lift and Gore Creek.

The view from the outdoor balcony is probably the best of any restaurant. The server was extremely nice and came to the table many times. The Margaritas were very good. The salsa had a kick to it and was very good. The steak fajitas were on the pricy side for the portion size, but very good and well worth it in my opinion. Will be the first restaurant we go to when we come back to Vail. Highly recommend.

We waited for 45 minutes to have a seat, and after we were seated we waited 30 minutes. They did not know who arrived first, and we were never serviced. We ended up leaving without talking to anyone. I think they were happier with us gone, and maybe will be happier if you don’t go.

Views and appetizers were AMAZING. We tried the elotes and it was super good highly recommend to anyone. We ordered main courses too and they were disappointing… the chicken tasted canned and sour. Wouldn’t recommend the chicken

Absolute worst service ever. Sat there for an hour and a half waiting for our food that we finally just cancelled. Matsen was our server and she either needs to get off the pot or get a new profession.

We have come here year after year for apres ski. Every year it is the same. Amazing house margaritas for a good apres ski deal, amazing taco apres ski special, amazing cheesy chorizo, amazing chips, amazing salsa, very slow service. We come here knowing that they only have one bartender, one food runner, and two servers for the entire restaurant (including the outside) every time we are here. We feel so bad for the servers every time because we can see how busy they are. We have to order things well in advance of when we need them because we know it will take forever to get. Sometimes we see our margaritas sitting on the bar for 10-15 minutes at a time, before they get delivered to us. It’s a shame because we love to come here but we set our expectation low and have patience. For example this last time, as soon as we sat down, we ordered the cheesy chorizo with some flour tortillas to dip in it. About 30 minutes later the cheesy chorizo came and we asked the food runner for the tortillas. The cheesy chorizo was almost gone and almost hardened at the point where our server stopped by again and we had to remind him about the flour tortillas. Then the food runner comes to clear our plates and we ask for the tortillas again, and another cheesy chorizo order to actually be able to dip them in this time. Finally the flour tortillas come with the second order. We eat a few of them and had them off to the side on the corner AWAY from the aisle and towards to window, and the food runner reached over to the back and took the basket away to clear them and she ran away so fast we couldn’t stop her to say we weren’t done. The tortillas did not come in a foil, just paper, so we wrapped the paper around them to keep warm and I guess they thought we were done? So there go the tortillas we waited about an hour for… sigh… Overall, we love the margaritas because they are very lime-y and we like the thin an salty chips to dip in the roasted salsa and cheesy chorizo. The tacos are yummy but you get 2 in the apres ski order so its a little pricey for what you get. When you come here just come with patience and enjoy the river views.

The food quality is authentic and amazing. Pet friendly dining on the patio with views of the slopes. Great place to meet up anytime. The Hatch Chili Cilantro marg was unique and delicious. This one moves up my list as unique and delicious- this is top shelf worthy. Do not miss the house smashed guac, enough for at least 4 adults or more. I had Grilled Mahi Mahi Tacos. .
