Lunch Buffet is finally back, and you just can’t beat the food or price! Always an amazing food experience at one of our favorite Indian food restaurants in the Bay Area. Food is always top quality home cooked here at Sansar, and the staff is very friendly as well.

Oh, the food! It was nothing short of divine. The extensive menu offered a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, each prepared with an exquisite blend of spices that tantalized my taste buds in the most delightful way. I particularly loved their signature [dish name], a mouthwatering symphony of flavors that I can’t wait to savor again.

Simply amazing food, I had the pleasure of enjoying this fine food with some cohorts from work. We all ordered separately and shared to enjoy as many flavors as we could. Not a single complaint from anyone except we could not stop eating! Full is an understatement, will be back when in California!

Another first time. I have been passing by this place for the last 3 months so decided to try it. Ordered Chicken Saag and Garlic Nan for pickup. Their ordering app was great and when I picked up the food, it was hot and fresh. As I was leaving I realized there was no rice! Whaaat? I have never been to an Indian restaurant were I had to order rice separately with a dish like Saag. I asked the gentleman there and he informed me and made a order of rice for me. He was nice enough not to charge me being my first time but I still think rice should be part of the meal which costs near $14. The Saag itself was delicious with the right amount of heat and a very generous portion. The garlic naan was nicely cooked and delicious too. Rice was plain white with some kind of a spice but basically plain. So to wrap up, flavors and portions were good but rice should be free.

We went in a little late for dinner. We were served with decent flavorful Indian dishes without much waiting. The restaurant manager was very nice and didn’t rush us though it was a but late. Food was full of good flavors. I found the quantity of food like saag paneer a little less than we generally see, for the price we pay. Veg biryani was yum. Special veg rice tasted good but my only issue was that the rice was a bit dry and not soft. Loved mango lassi and their yogurt.

I don’t tend to rate anything “perfect,” but this place deserves 5 stars. Excellent food, excellent service. You get an opportunity, don’t be afraid to give it a try.

Delicious Indian food that has the perfect balance of Western influence. All curry dishes were great with Naan. Service was fairly quick. Street parking or park at Ace public parking. Biryani was very flavorfull with a cruch of seasoning with each bite. We have been coming here for over 10 years and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Restrooms available.

This place is the very definition of overrated. I had a 3 hours drive from SAN Francisco and found this as a recommendation. Since I travel very often, I religiously follow google and yelp guidelines when it comes to picking food, places to visit, hotel…first thing that bothered me is extremely common in that area, they do not respect the scheduled hours they dispose online. After a 15-20 minutes detour, I was excised to finally eat, it was 4 pm, I hadn’t even eat lunch because I wanted to try on the menu. I got there and it’s closed from 3pm to 4h30 pm apparently while on google it stated that it was open until 10. I decide to stop by an ice cream place across the street that’s supposedly open according to google, and it’s close as well, same thing with the other Indian restaurant nearby. I finally spot an employee at 4h25 pm and he tells me to come back in 10 min. I get back and place my order. I ask the waiter about the menu preferences and I order 2 appetizers and 1 meal that was around 14$. I get my appetizer and they were good, but that’s it. Not exceptional whatsoever, just basic Indian food. When I get my main plate, I realize that they didn’t give me my order, but a tandoori mixed grill that’s 20.95$. I barely had service and had to aske for water refill. Moral of the story is that service is not that great and food is just borderline ok. Don’t get there with high hopes.
