First time here ! Heard great things about the pasta and cheeseboards. The food was perfect. We enjoyed everything we ordered. However our waitress was very very slow. She seemed almost like she couldn’t be bothered serving us. My bf asked for an IPA sample which took extremely long to come out. the waitress didn’t even come back promptly to see if he wanted to order. She hardly checked on us. I also asked for a second glass of wine with my dessert and by the time she brought my wine .. our dessert was well gone.

The staff especially our waiter with the nose ring was exceptionally rude . Asked for food and dessert at same time. Took food and drink away before we were finished. We have a traditional first cut and wish for the birthday girl and we had to argue with him for a knife. Also asked for the signature of credit card before we were done eating. The crispy chicken was awful. Been here before . Never Again !!

2022 – Our 1st time at this restaurant. Easy off street free parking with an attendant. Jackie at the downstairs bar too great care of us while we were waiting for our late stragglers. Tomato and corn salad A+ same with the sweet corn pizza. We had 4-5 of each. Main courses very good. This place closes at 10pm so start early. Prior to dessert being served at 10:15pm-10:20pm we were told no more drinks or expresso…….only drip coffee….ODD at best. Desserts are crazy good. Pre ordered with dinner and it shows. Everyone shared and raved about the different tastes and choices. Will be back but probably start at 7pm and downstairs at the bar.

If the food is good – you best believe that the restaurant is getting 5-stars. They had a great selection of both food and wine. Their grilled pizzas are a must – and you can’t go wrong with any pasta or fish dish (swordfish was excellent). The service was a little hit or miss depending on what you asked, but overall, they have very pleasant staff and the food is top notch.

Went here for a joint birthday dinner based off a family recommendation. And I can say that I was highly disappointed. Service took a long time such as getting our check back taking 20 minutes. The best food we got was the pizza we got as an appetizer. That alone is bumping up this rating a whole star. Beyond that the food was just average and in my opinion over priced. To me the worst part was the atmosphere or lack there of. The only things on the walls were the two masks on the first floor where we did not stay. I am definitely not coming back.

I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO START! Everything just makes me so happy. I would definitely make Baccaro my go to if I still live in Providence. You will not regret dining here whether it is with a couple of friends or with a large party. The service here is amazing. All the staffs are super friendly and accommodating. And the food – omg. I don’t recall the name of the dish but the foie gras on the small toast with jam was above and beyond. My entire group got 2 more rounds after we tried it out. It just melts in your mouth. Perfect amount of saltiness and sweetness. PERFECTION. And the pastas were amazing too. My personal favorite is the Pasto Con I Funghi. The Egg yolk ties all the flavors together. We doubled up on this dish when we dined there. And for desserts, we got the Lemon Meringue Tart. It was the dessert we needed – light, refreshing, but still filling. I’m so glad we booked Baccaro two months in advance. We had such a great night here Thank you Baccaro!!!

Only our second time dining here. First time was over a year ago and great, but last night we weren’t sure what to expect with all of the covid restrictions and we’re pleasantly surprised to find the service and food outstanding! We made reservations to be seated outdoors. They created a beautiful outdoor patio, which was enjoyable. Their staff was exemplary and all worked together as a team ensuring food came out as soon as it was ready. All were masked and very mindful of sanitizing their hands periodically.
