The AfterTaste is the persistence of a flavorful sensation infused in our smoke-kissed/wood-grilled or Southern-fried authentic culinary soul and BBQ creations.
Thurs-Sat 12-8pm: Dine-in (first-come/first-serve basis), Online Orders, Take-Out and Delivery (Uber Eats, Doordash, and Grubhub). Our kitchen closes at 7:30pm.
Sun 1pm-9pm Online Orders for Pick-up/Delivery only (No Dine-in on Sundays)
We recommend calling ahead for pick-up orders as wait time may average 25 minutes.

I always try a place twice before leaving a review. The young ladies that work the front have amazing customer service. A bit pricey. I spent $40 each time and order the exact same thing both times.The first time I tried this place, everything was great, and the food was fresh. Today’s visit was the total opposite. Even though the customer service was great, the food was horrible. They were out of some items. The ribs seem days old and so dry and hard that they weren’t edible. I literally had to throw the ribs away. The cobbler also didn’t seem fresh this time as it was extremely mushy and has to be thrown away. Very disappointed to have a waste a meal.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and the cashier was warm and friendly. I was excited to see rib tips on the menu as I’ve been looking for tips for the longest. I was skeptical about the barbecue sauce because I’m not a fan of spicy. I was told their was a sweeter sauce available if i wanted it on the side. As I sat waiting on my order I could not help but take in the beautiful decorum of this establishment. Nicely decorated with thoughtful pieces. It had a cozy and intimate feeling. The best part was getting home and tasting the rib tips. They were seasoned to perfection and needed no sauce. The mac n cheese was delicious and the pasta salad was tasty. Last but not least were the great portion sizes. I was able to split the meal with my nine year old and was left full. I’ve definitely found my new BBQ place and will be back with my family.

Not 1 thing tasted like something. Respectfully. The chicken was fried in old grease. The rice is like baged boiled rice without flavor. The potatoe salad gave me the runs. The Pasta salad didnt taste like nothing either. Oh and the coolaid was way to sweet. It left an after taste. Respectfully.

I love the decor of the restaurant. Staff very welcoming with genuine smiles. The food was awesome. I ordered a rib plate with greens, sweet potatoes, turkey dinner with broccoli, candied yams, and rice, and vegetable plate with green beans, cabbage, rice,, fried corn and the best fried mushrooms. I will definitely go back !!

As a global business traveler that seeks local gems this excels in all categories of dining excellence! Not your average BBQ joint! Decor, atmosphere and service raises the bar onthe ol’ BBQ expectations! Now let’s get to the food. RIBS- when you can make a rib and sauce that stands out against past references and a sauce that has no discernable ingredients to compare to other go to flavors- you have rocked that recipe! They have lamb- LAMB!! SIDES-!Again they own their ingredients! All I can say is I could identify their Mac and cheese and cabbage from all others in a side by side. CONCLUSION : AAA rating due to unforgettable tastes, vibe and service! Best of luck!

I will start off saying the food was good! I had smoked wings, barbecue slaw and baked beans. Nice twist on beans and slaw! The downside was it is PRICEY! 2 entrees and an appetizer was over $70. I don’t mind paying a bit more for good food however the food was served on disposable “bamboo like” plates. Also, we were given Togo packs of utensils and plastic cups. That took away from the beautiful well thought out decor. Once I placed my order I was told they had run out of things. It would be a great idea that staff is trained to inform patrons as they’re seated when items on the menu are not available. It will fill less disappointing. I must say Bailey, our server really made great efforts to give us a pleasant experience.

I tired this place for first time this past Friday because I was soul food. I ordered online and to my surprise basically everything was sold out. I settled for the fried chicken, collard greens, yams, and fries. To be honest, I didn’t like anything, I barely finished the chicken. The greens tasted like glory canned collards, fries has parsley and other seasoning. The yams weren’t what I expected. I hope things get better for this place.
