I enjoyed all of the different food stations and there was a large variety. The seating is nice, it’s a large space. Food is expensive, but there is no tax since it is a federal building.

Convenience is the only real reason to eat here. After a long day of touring the city & just coming off of a tour of the capital building, we needed some food. The food trucks are not around this area and the nearest restaurants are blocks away. So, we settled for the cafe. There were several options, including both Coke & Pepsi. I made the mistake of choosing the pepperoni pizza. The crust was partly burned on the bottom and nearly impossible to nut through with the stainless wear that was provided. Prices were more reasonable that the museum cafes, but only just. Restrooms nearby are very large & clean. Staff were friendly enough.

Its good for what it is – without the vouchers the food would have been very expensive.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food at this cafe. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich with a side of green beans for $12. The chicken was so flavorful, I wish I hadn’t taken the optional barbecue sauce—it didn’t need it. The green beans were cooked perfectly—firm, but not too crunchy. Even the side of fruit I got was delicious. My husband got the chicken leg and said it was delicious as well. Much better than the touristy foods around DC.

Decent food. I guess we were hungry enough to enjoy cafeteria food. Definitely better food than most of the tourist places. It wasn’t crowded and prices were reasonable.

Large selection of different types of food. Anyone in your group will be able to get something to eat. The food was OK. It was not amazing. It’s a very convenient place to stop. The prices are a bit high but for the convenience it’s probably worth it.

Impressively large self-serve cafeteria with good variety of food and snacks, located inside the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center. We stopped here for a snack after our tour of the Capitol. Everything was very clean and service was friendly. Lots of places to sit.

After an amazing visit to the Capitol, the café offers food and sweet treats to refuel the body and keep going around the nation’s capital.

Loved by both sides of the aisle! You can’t go wrong with the selections here fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. But OUT OF MANY, ONE desert reigns supreme — capitol dome cake!

Very high price for very low quality food. Chicken fingers fair, burger fair but may have caused GI issues. Fries below average. Turkey sandwich just bad – waste of $11. Vegetarian pasta option flavorless, almost no seasoning except weirdly incongruent and needlessly excessive amount of spiciness. Coke Zero slot at one drink station did not work, and the other station was fully broken. The limited service was good but though a convenient location that does not allow for such a huge lapse in quality, especially for such ridiculous prices.
