Kind of a cute restaurant. Real bright and not too homey. Friendly service young girls trying hard probably why we didn’t leave when our food arrived. Food not close to typical for the Original Pancake House. Pancakes very flat and not very tasty. The food was not hearty or filling. My son was given strawberries that were spoiled. You know there is a problem when a young boy leaves half of his pancakes. He was hungry when we got home. My wife got sausage links that were over cooked. We were all disappointed with the food and the prices were very expensive. Yesterday we went to our favorite pancake house and check out the pictures (last photo) of what a real pancake house breakfast looks like. We left stuffed and happy.

Wow! This place is expensive! Be aware or ask about additional charges. The kids banana pancakes states it’s $8.50 on the menu but I was charged $10. When I asked my server about it, she mentioned it’s an additional $1.50 for the bananas and walnuts, which I did not ask for. Same for the $2.85 charge, it’s for the jr. pancakes with added blueberries! Menu is very limited.

We Went late on a Monday morning so they were pretty slow which made for fast service. I thought the place was very clean and big. The server attended us quickly and the food was quick. The pancakes were delicious and was not crazy over priced. I would come here again.

We were there for 35 minutes after ordering before the food arrived. The food tasted alright. I was not impressed with the waffle. I was expecting the waffle to be like it is at other places thick and fluffy. It was thin, and reminded me of an Kellogg’s Eggo frozen. The strawberries were nothing to write home about. The eggs were similar to the substance that I would consume while in the Marine Corps… Not pleasant. My wife ordered a baby dutch and that was alright. Overall, the food was not what were expecting and we will not be returning. Save your money and an actual hearty breakfast somewhere else.

Although our experience was not nice, we will still probably come back because we like OPH’s pancakes.

Took 20 minutes to have order taken and it wasn’t even peak hours on the weekend. Food took another 20 minutes. Restaurant was about half full, so they are running slow and very inefficient. They were out of bacon for the bacon waffles but could still do a side of bacon (doesn’t make sense). The side of bacon we received was overcooked, almost burnt. We were charged $15 for 1 very flat waffle; the waffles you make yourself at a holiday inn are fluffier and have more flavor.

My husband and I are brunch junkies and this is probably by far one of the best brunch places we’ve ever been! The Apple Pancake is a must try for a first timer! I think I cried a little bit when I took the 1st bite. Not the prettiest dish but definitely one of my favorite breakfast of all times. Servers were also nice, fast, helpful with the menu. They also have other workers going around making sure people’s cups are refilled. The owner walked around making sure people are happy. We love this place.

Eggs were cold, bacon was limp and the bowl for the oatmeal could not accommodate oatmeal, cream and brown sugar. After adding the brown sugar and cream it spilled over the bowl and when I asked for a larger bowl the sever said that’s all we have. I don’t if the restaurant is under new management, but the service and quality of food has gone down. Will not be going there again.
