Our nugget history begins in the mid-1970’s, when the original owner, Lou Iandoli and his business partner opened Garden Poultry in the heart of Greenwich, CT. In 1978, grabbing hold of an opportunity to grow and expand, Mr. Landoli opened under the name of Garden Catering on Sound Beach Avenue; which is now known as our flagship location.
Sadly, Mr. Iandoli passed away in 1989 and Garden Catering closed its doors. Responding to the heartache of nugget fans everywhere, Frank Carpenteri Sr. purchased the business from Mrs. Iandoli, along with the secret recipes for Garden Catering’s famous fried chicken and nuggets.

Stopped by bc I had the boys with me and can’t go wrong with nuggets and fries. I remember them from back when I lived in Stamford, have never tasted their food bc I was already vegetarian by the time they opened there. Turns out they offer a lot more than nuggets and fries anymore. I even saw cauliflower nuggets, wraps, salads, breakfast, fritters, gluten free options too. So I might go back to try the cauliflower nuggets. The service was excellent. I told the young lady I had never been there, so she broke it down for me the size options. Got the special for the 11yr old and the boss for the 17yr old. They were happy. Lots of sauce options, can pick up to 5. And our two meals came with 3 soda cans. So I got my drink which was all I wanted anyway. Kudos…I like seeing places keep up with the times! Like why does McDonald’s not have vegetarian options but garden catering does!?

Overall just a little Disappointed. Was hoping for the worlds best chicken nuggets. The seasoning was good but just a little to salty which then just made the rest of the meal to salty. The amount that you receive is a bit overpriced in my opinion. I also asked for BBQ and received a sweet and sour sauce. I understand that it was probably a busy time and I could’ve gone back to correct problem but unfortunately I didn’t notice till I was back home.

Sebastian and Chaz were extremely helpful and kind when my online order got messed up by their system. They had great customer service skills and dealt with the problem with patience and care making sure I wasn’t getting double charged or anything and was getting exactly what I ordered!

When you order 2lbs of chicken nuggets at $28 dollars, you expect to get 2lbs. When I question the amount because the bags were so light they mocked me. Obviously I was right and they wrong. Will never order from garden catering again. Complete rip-off!

So… The other day I went to the Norwalk Garden Catering and they randomly closed 2 hours early. Today, I went to the Fairfield location to get corn fritters and apparently they just didn’t have any for the day. I love their food but jeez, they really gotta get it together when it comes to customer service/satisfaction.
