A great place to get your BBQ fix for lunch is Blanchard’s Barbeque. We have been following this place since they were a food truck. The Smoked Turkey and Pulled Pork are definitely worth a trip.

Great tasting BBQ. I won’t say it’s the best I ever had only because I travel a lot for work and have been to places in KC and Memphis and Texas that where just out of this world. However I will definitely put them up top on my list of great BBQ still. Lafayette don’t really have much options for BBQ anyway so discovering this place was great. I would definitely recommend this place and eat here again. The ribs where really good as well as the brisket. The ancho espresso bbq sauce was different but good, I actually liked it. I was recommended to this place by a friend who really liked it. I spent $24 for a 2 meat, 2 side plate with a drink. That is actually a good price also for good quality meat. Definitely check them out you won’t be disappointed.

It was. 8/10 I do recommend it though the barbecue was a hit! I was just not to big on the sauces. I’m more of a regular barbecue sauce type of person. Wish that was a option! Other then that it was good.

Brisket was delicious- and I loved the creole mustard bbq sauce! I had a plate that came with 2 sides, it seemed a little pricey for lunch but there is enough for me to have leftovers for dinner later. The Mac & cheese is pretty good, corn casserole was a little bland. The potato salad is a much different recipe than what I am used to but it was very good. I’d return if I’m back in town!

Definitely one of my favorite BBQ places if only my favorite BBQ spots to eat at. I’ve been eating from Blanchards since before there restaurant. I’ve been a fan since the food truck days at the AT&T call center in Lafayette. I recommend this place for any BBQ cravings. Nachos are my favorite with extra cheese.

Clean restaurant and friendly service but most of all the brisket and ribs were outstanding. Good bang for your buck in my opinion visiting from Dallas TX. Tender juicy brisket with nice bark—-so much flavor. Loved it. I’ll try the poutine next time, it looks interesting.

Best barbecue! A friend recommended Blanchard’s to me. He said it was the best BBQ in the country. He travels for work and enjoys trying BBQ everywhere. I was skeptical, but figured I’d try Blanchard’s. Let me tell you my friend just may be right. The brisket and ribs here are amazing . If you like barbecue, you must visit Blanchard’s. I got the burnt ends, brisket sandwich with slaw, and it was amazing! The best i’ve had for sure! I called in my order and picked it up, it was fresh and ready very quickly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fun with ball games on and beer specials. I wish they would be open in the evenings!
