I really don’t like leaving reviews like this but it needs to be done. Food was not up to par. Bistec is usually a nice sized piece of steak but of course, it was an “appetizer” size.. 4 oz at the most. Steak also lacked flavor & was extremely dry. Fries were extremely soggy & dripping oil while the inside was undercooked and had a “blocky” consistency. Jalea did not have squid.. which is a staple.

Food was good. I enjoyed it and the flavor. Fries are a strange addition to Peruvian style food. I like fries so no complaints. Staff bilingual and helpful. Plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating. Right next to the convention center for easy convenience. Good amount of food for the price as well. Flavor is decent. Nothing amzing imo. Its just a normal satisfying meal. Hard to explain.

Delicious local Pollo place! Very nice staff and clean restaurant. The best part is a tie between the quality of the food and the prices. Had a chicken sub with fries and drink for $8. Fed a family of four with $28. Will definitely go back

Stopped by while at a local expo, and this place was amazing! I got the pollo saltado, it was excellent and a lot of food. They play music, but also, when a set came on that was a bit too loud, they turned it down! I highly appreciate that <3

Waited almost an hour for our final dish while we watched more than two dozen customers come in after us, order and leave with their food. It would seem the dish wasn’t even started until they cleared those 2 dozen or more orders. Wild. Empanada was served to us burned totally black on the bottom and inedible. $6 empanada, for a single and served like this extremely disappointing

I’ve been to several Peruvian restaurants and have always had quick and quality service with exceptional dishes – reading these reviews, I was hopeful that Calletana’s would be the same. I hesitated to go inside after we noticed trash scattered across the front entrance. The greeting we received from the litter however seemed warmer than the service we experienced from the employee who was behind the counter when we first walked in. After asking if we could place our order, we waited for over ten minutes despite being the only people in line. When we finally decided to ask again, she stepped in the back room to grab another employee to help without ever once acknowledging us.
