Great classic downtown Whittier breakfast place for me. My last time here there was a 45 minute wait, but just walked in this time. Got lucky!

This is a little restaurant that tries to bring a French-style café to California. It’s nice the food is good, I think for where it is and what they offer it’s good. I love the decor the most, and it’s a cute date spot

My 1st time eating at this place and it was outside seating which we liked.. However they did not clean off the tables when we 1st got there so there were little tiny bugs crawling around not a big problem… the problem was it took a really really long time for our order and when we did get the food, it was cold. so therefore any kind of melted cheese was pretty hard and the potatoes were cold And it might be because we only saw one waitress handling the whole place. It was a Friday mid morning… i wouldn’t go back. They get an extra star because their carafe of sparkling wine was decent.

ordered the sausage crepe, the food was cold, the potatoes were undercooked, and the service was poor. We only saw our server at the time of placing orders, serving our meals, never came to refill out drinks, and had to ask for our bill , The restaurant was half full, so there’s no excuse. Definitely not worth the wait, like their coffee mug reads.

Had an amazing breakfast here! It’s in a neat area in Whittier. My mom and I split a goat cheese crepe with chicken sausage, mushrooms, peppers, and onions, and it was so flavorful. There was plenty for the both of us. I also had a rose latte, which had a great balance of flavors. The service was friendly and our food arrived quickly.

I recommend trying this restaurant, I like their french onion soup and crepes. I especially like a cozy seating outdoors. 3 stars because salmon crepe was actually a miss: they used smoked salmon and heated it up. Well, I think it’s a no-no: the taste was super salty and just plain weird. It needs to be grilled or fried salmon pieces inside that crepe. I would suggest for this restaurant to come up with a better selection of desserts, it’s pretty non-existent, you got to go somewhere else. Which is weird for a French restaurant, don’t you think? I expected huge choice of nice European freshly baked pastries. Nope. The location and atmosphere attract. Enhancing the menu would make me come here more often!

Long wait to be seated, to be served, and get food. I will say, I did see that they are in need of additional staff; Do not know if it’s an ownership issue or folk don’t want to work. Food was…..okay, not worth the wait IMO. Stay away from the lemon crepe….ehhh too sour

Mixed reviews says it all. Positives. Nice cozy ambiance. Great potential. BUT Negatives- wait time. Understaffed. Menu is like a mix of old favorites and compromised modern takes. As if some MBA grad sibling tried to cut corners and mess up family traditions for profitability i.e. processed grilled chicken, strawberry preserves, canned sauces… totally a candidate kitchen for Gordon Ramsay to visit and shake things up a bit and set the restaurant straight and back to old glory. Would like to visit again in the future to note any positive changes because it has great potential to be the charm of the city.

Went for lunch. Ordered the turkey sandwich. It was great, I just came out of the dentist so the toasted bread was too much.

The absolute worst experience we’ve ever had here. The coffee was bitter. The crepes were thick, not thin like crepes should be. The grits were chunky and had no flavor. The scrambled eggs were dark brown to burnt. The bechamal sauce was lumpy and tasted as I imagine paste would taste. We told our waiter when he asked and it took him 15 minutes to bring our bill so we could leave. We won’t be recommending it anymore.
