The gyoza was great. Super crispy and the dipping sauce was great. The ramen was not so great … I ordered The Shoyu on Fire and wanted the spice level at a level 3. It was not spicy at all and my broth was very bland. My husband got the Tsukemen Dipping Noodles and the broth was luke warm and also very bland.

I’m not sure why this place is rated a 3.5. Legit should be a 4.5. Karage Roce bowl is amazing. The Classic Ramen with pork was amazing. My favorite item on the menu had to be the Pork bun. One of the best pork buns I’ve had outside of SF. Amazing quality.

Karaage bowls are some of the best things on the menu here. Chicken is crispy, very flavorful. Lots of action going on here. There’s almost always a wait though, and service times can vary depending on when you go. Their ramen is on par with the stuff I’d get anywhere else, nothing special really.

I have gone to this place a couple times and it’s a pretty solid spot. It’s rice bowls are pretty good, I usually get the soboro bowl. I usually get the Blaze ramen , #2 spicy level which is the best ramen they have. It’s really rich and flavorful but #2 can be too spicy for some. Their ramen isn’t the best i’ve had but it’s pretty solid and good choice when eating at the annex. Their chicken karage is pretty good also, not oily at all. The pork bun is actually one of my favorite to get also.

I highly recommend the Blaze and Garlic noodles. For meat lovers I would suggest you order an extra piece of pork belly because you’re going to want it!

I don’t understand the bad reviews below. I can speak about the classic ramen with pork. It is delicious, it is consistent, the sear pork has a crispy texture, soft to the bite, and it melts in your mouth. The broth is creamy, has the perfect taste, not too overwhelming, just neutral to accompany the pork, the onion, the egg, oh and the egg tastes fresh, like just boiled. I will keep coming.

Finally get to try this ramen place after months of hearing about their opening, popped by a few times in the past month but they were always closed for training from 1-5 and if after 5, the lines were too long!

For a ramen lover and explorer, this was a disappointment. Pork ramen had extremely rich soy based cream which made me feel nauseous. Pork was hard, thick, dry and felt stale. I took a small bite and got rid of the remaining. I ordered spicy and got mild instead so had to add the chilli paste on my bowl. It makes difference if you add heat during cooking. I also tried chicken ramen my friend ordered which was mediocre. Vegan Bun had overkilling sauce where we could hardly taste anything but sauce. Tofu bowl was good. Additionally, service was extremely slow. We waited about 40 minutes to get our food and several back and forth for condiments.

Love this place..Ramen is soo delicious and filling. I had the vegetable Ramen and the portion was huge I could not finish it in one sitting. My sister and daughter had the original, one chicken and the other pork.I will definitely be back in the future and I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet.
