Always disappoints. Does t compare to the Mira Mesa location in service and quality. I ordered a mini BBQ chicken planner. It’s is rubbery tastes boiled and no bbq flavor. The cooks have been chatting non stop…maybe the quality is the way it is bc no one cares here. Next time I will drive to Mira Mesa. Waste of money.

A Samoan friend suggested I try this L & L. I frequent Ohana on Melrose. The first thing I noticed was my the sticky floor under my boots. While I waited, I noticed unswept floors, tables needing wiping down, furniture in disrepair. If the front of the house is dirty,, usually kitchen is worse. I was the only customer. Got my food quick, which means it wasn’t fresh of the grill. So the place was dirty and the food wasn’t fresh. I won’t be going back. Try Ohana on Melrose in Vista. WAY MO BETTER !!

I Came to this location thinking that they The shrimp curry was a good idea since I’m pescatarian and do not partake in any land animals for religious purposes I am a nurse so I really don’t have much time to be looking and examining my food sadly you would think that the shrimp curry was curry potatoes carrots and the shrimp itself sadly there was beef with In my curry I haven’t ate meant in 6 years so eating this made me very sick and upset my stomach so great Im very upset I have never had shrimp curry with beef in or on the menu doesn’t state that there is is beef In the meal I purchased the company needs to make sure this made know to customers so no one is hurt mental or spiritual and also physically like me with my stomach this is very upsetting and I don’t know how to tell my husband I consumed meat

All the food we ordered was absolutely horrible! The Katsu plate was overcooked and dry! The rice was undercooked! Chicken had no flavor, the beef was dry and the hamburger for the Loco Moco dry and hard and wasn’t runny like it was supposed to be.

I judge Hawaiian-style food on a simple platter: musubi. Yesterday I had spam and bbq pork musubi. Delicious! Today I put the cashier on the spot. “What is your favorite? I will take that.” I walked away with the Kalua with Cabbage. Delicious once again! I have definitely been made a customer.

I saw this place has mixed reviews but I have never had a bad experience at any L&L. We ordered the Kalua Pork and Lau Lau combination plate with a side of two spam musubi. The Kalua pork was so tender and delicious and the Lau Lau was such a balance of herbs and flavor. The side we got were macaroni salad and rice and they were both fresh and delicious and complimented the meats so well. The spam Musubi was great too! Overall a good experience!

Waited so long for our food, they had the 3 bbq mix however the cashier kept telling the guys in the back to start cooking the burger and they kept saying to wait. Never coming to this place again.. rather drive to Ohana Hawaiian BBQ in Vista.
