This particular Papa John’s is the one in front of Kroger on Mt. Juliet road. We wanted to do a heart-shaped pizza for dinner to make it fun for the kids, but it was mediocre in every way. When I arrived at the restaurant, I pulled up to the window to pick up my order. And I sat there for 10 minutes (no exaggeration here), but nobody greeted me. And I could see two separate employees through the pickup window! So I went inside, and thankfully my order was ready. It seemed like perhaps they just didn’t have enough people working. A man whom I assume to be the owner or manager was politely trying to get people their orders, so that was a plus. But the heart-shaped pizza was not heart-shaped. Lol. It was sort of dented in on one side. Definitely not symmetrical. It was so bad my wife took a picture and sent it to her brother (who actually works at a different Papa Johns). He sent us back a picture of what it was supposed to look like, and the two were drastically different. Maybe we’ll chalk this one up to just not having enough workers to operate they way they are supposed to. Hoping you do better next time, PJs!

The area where you pick-up is so small. People were standing outside the door waiting because it’s so confined. And with covid19 still an issue, you could feel the anxiety. The people were great and the food was awesome. Still order two or three times a week. Love it!

I’ve ordered from this location a few times since they opened and EVERY SINGLE TIME they do amazing. Most recently they accidentally forgot one part of my delivery. I called just expecting a refund for it but the manager brought it to me. Accidents happen but the way they react to them speaks volumes. In addition to stellar customer service their food is always good. In this area a lot of people, shopping & restaurants pop up. This seems to have caused customer service to drastically decline, I’ve stopped going to a lot of restaurants over it, but that’s the opposite for this Papa Johns. They are amazing and I’m very thankful for that and the manager who went out of his way today.
