Normally I’d give them 4.5-5 stars for the quality/flavor of food. As my pseudo-sister and I were finishing up, a COCKROACH was crawling on my shoulder. I at first had thought it to be my ponytail, but as I moved my hair to the other side, I realized there was still something tickling my shoulder. I then quickly brushes off my shoulder and once it fell to the floor, I confirmed it to be a small young Cockroack and it scurried away beneath the bench to the left of me. Unfortunately it was too quick and I couldn’t take a picture. I assure you this was not a pleasant experience. We quickly went outside and finished up our conversation outdoors.

Overall great experience here recently. Manager (brunette female) was friendly and professional. Our group enjoyed appetizers, several rolls and sake. Definitely will come back again.

I had never had a chance to eat Sushi in Rocklin, so this was my first place. It was VERY GOOD. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere. I ordered the Garlic Albacore, Granite, and Rocklin rolls. All three were very good and very large. You will not leave hungry after a trip here. The only reason I didn’t leave a five is because the rolls were over-sauced. If they pulled back on the sauce usage a bit, they would be AMAZING rolls.

Pretty good. My sister ordered a bento box. She liked the meat. I ordered a 911. Good spicy but overall too sweet for the taste. Rice was bit different from all other sushi places I’ve been to.

This place has been my Go To for awhile. I have tried others locally and there are good ones. This place is close to home and always has traffic. To me that speaks to how good they are and they aren’t sitting on their seafood. Had the “Granite Roll” tonight. Was great and the server Nicole was awesome.

Ernie is absolutely the best manager & server!!!! She has an uncanning ability to remember orders and your preferences once you dine-in a couple times. She’s very good at surprising you with rolls if you tell her what you like. I’m a very particular customer, because I have Celiac. I can’t have anything with Gluten; soy sauce, imitation crab, nothing fried, etc. Kevin (owner and lead chef) and Ernie take great care in making sure I have a safe eating environment.
