The Daily Bar & Grill is further from Lincoln Square’s center of gravity, but that’s what makes it so appealing. You can sit at a table under a tree in a quiet patio area. The salads and burgers are excellent. Be sure to try their classic root beer float.

We’ve eaten here a couple times, and always had great service. Sat in the patio this last time, our server John had spot-on recommendations, was very attentive to our kids needs, and was very friendly and personable. Fish and chips, fish tacos, tenders, and the homemaker sandwich were all top notch. Their fries and tater tots were very well fried and super crispy – loved them! Fried pickles were a bit too salty, so I’d pass on those next time, but still well fried. Great place to get top-tier bar food.

Patio weather during the summer is great in Chicago but straight up the service at this patio sucks. 3 people just standing around chit chatting One of them came by, took my empty glass but didn’t bother to ask me if I wanted another one? The beer selection is great and the service inside is great so order your drink/food inside then take it outside and just leave after that bc they full on don’t care about you on the patio.

Had dinner and drinks after work on a Thursday night. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient plus a good sense of humor. Outdoor patio is spacious and quiet enough given the location. Will return in future. Highly recommend to others.

My wife and I have walked past this place a hundred times but never stopped in until tonight. The inside looks really nice, but we decided to eat our meal out on their patio space which is pretty big and open to the sidewalk. They have a nice mix of classic mixed drinks and craft beer selections. The menu is pretty simple, nothing extraordinary but the appetizer was good and our meals delicious. Good quick service as well. Recommend.

Let me tell you what…this place is unbelievable!! Incredible bacon cheese burger, cooked to perfection with the best hand-cut homemade fries and house made ranch. The friendliest, most professional service I’ve seen made my trip to Chicago perfection. They even gave my friends and I the center table to watch whatever football games we wanted on their big screen TVs. A MUST stop in the area for both locals and tourists.

Looking for somewhere to eat after seeing a matinee on 4th of July. One of the few restaurants that is open in the area. My patty melt was not bad. My wife did not like much what she ordered (gumbo). All in all, it has a nice outside sitting and food is normal for bar.

Today was our first time here and they did not disappoint! I ordered the Sunday edition burger and it was the best burger I’ve ever had! My boyfriend got the blackened chicken Florentine sandwich and it was also delicious. Service was excellent and quick! We will return.
