The Mile Away Restaurant is a great option for an outdoor summer wedding. There is a beautiful ceremony site, a tent with large dance floor, many options for portraits and great food. The staff are also super nice and helped organize a sparkler sendoff for the newly weds.

We had a lovely experience here with friends. The food was delicious and the grounds were beautiful. I only wish my Moscow mule had been served in a copper mug. Overall it was a great experience.

We were really excited to hear that the Mile Away reopened for dining. Though the food was pretty much on par with what we remembered, the service was really slow. Our server was a really nice (however obviously inexperienced) young lady, but was overwhelmed with the few tables (no large parties) that she had and received no support from coworkers or management. When 2 people order the “Full Course” option and it takes an hour and 45 minutes ( a full 20 minutes from dinner plates being cleared to dessert order being taken) for dinner…there is definitely room for improvement. Though we had experienced some slow service on a rare occasion over the past 20+ years of dining here, I don’t believe the food quality makes up for it anymore.

We have been to the inside restaurant numerous times before COVID and always had a wonderful experience. Food was very good then. Recently we decided to try the new patio area and was highly disappointed in the food. We got 2 alcoholic drinks which was very water downed, and had the shrimp cocktail and veggie & hummus. The celery sticks were not even edible as they were all brown. The peppers were wilted. The carrots were very pale in color. The hummus was tasteless. The shrimp cocktail is a joke. 5 medium sized shrimp for $11 and it tasted like the precooked shrimp rings you can buy at the grocery store. The drinks were each $11 for basically water. Service wasn’t bad, but our waitress did give off the impression she didn’t want to be there….we will not be returning.

Wonderful dining experience. Charming atmosphere with very attentive wait staff. The 4 course meal was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back. My husband and I had a drink on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful grounds before going into the dining room.

My daughter and I experienced a mouthwatering Easter dinner with wonderful service. The glazed carrots melted in your mouth, ham was glazed with raisins and mashed potatoes were a creamy delight. My daughter had chocolate mousse cake and I chose lemon cake..both were excellent. Wonderful meal in a charming setting.

Love the ambiance of this place. The food is amazing. I had a fruit cup with sorbet, a salad, wiener schnitzel with Swiss potatoes, pickled beets and lemon mascarpone cake!
