They were a bit disorganized this morning. For some reason they weren’t using a seating list today. People would ask how many and then disappear for 5 minutes and come back and ask again. It only took our party of two about 15 minutes to be seated though. Coffee was on the table right away and stayed full the entire time. At one point there were three different people walking around with coffee pots. The staff was friendly. The kitchen was pretty slow today because it took forty minutes for the food to hit why of the tables that sat around the same time as I did. I ordered the chicken fried steak and my wife got the cinnamon roll french toast. The French toast tasted great, and the chicken fried steak was above average but pretty small for the price. The potatoes were flavored nicely. A solid 4 ⭐ meal today. I’ll try again and see if they improve.

There are 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 kids. Breakfast came to $81. Though the food was good, it wasn’t worth $81….for breakfast. Coffee is nearly $4 a cup! My goodness, I buy organic coffee beans at $8 a pound. We don’t think we will be back.

Sweetpeas in Auburn consistently serves delicious food with top-notch service. The club sandwich was great, the omelettes are excellent – especially the chicken enchilada omelette! It was loaded with generous chunks of juicy chicken, an appropriate amount of rich cheese, and savory red sauce. Also, the kitchen staff have a hilarious sense of humor! Site parking is somewhat limited.

This is officially my favorite restaurant! Family run, extremely friendly, excellent food and service, wide variety of selection on the menu, and unbelievable prices! Had the baby back ribs, and they are to die for! They are no longer serving dinner. We went for lunch and I had the special club eggs Benedict and he had the meatloaf sandwich. Delicious!!!

This little breakfast place holds a special place in mine and my husband’s hearts. Not only is the food super yummy, when I was pregnant, we stopped in for breakfast and there was a family sitting behind us with a little boy. We overheard them talking to their little boy and we both just looked at each other and knew that had to be our name (if we had a boy). We ended up having a boy and named our son the little boy’s name! Had it not been for Sweet Pea’s we wouldn’t have named our son that special name and we are going back this weekend for the first time since that day. Can’t wait! 🙂
