Not completely horrible. The counter staff was polite. The food though was the worst barbecue I’ve ever had. Hot link was bland, pulled pork was disgusting and fatty, the sauce was thin and watered down, and the beans, worst baked beans anywhere. For the price the portions are small, very small. Oh and 3 bucks for a lg drink. This place got some good reviews but these are things that should never happen. Don’t waste your money like I felt I did…

Let’s start with new owners at least since we were last here. With that came a new menu. Daughter says the mac n cheese is fantastic. I had the Gumption sandwich and it was very good. Fries were good. Now the poor, my wife had the brisket sandwich and it was okay but in actuality only a 7.99 sandwich versus 9.99 price. I understand food costs and not complaining but for that sandwich and price it might keep some people from coming. Okra seemed like any breaded frozen okra but cooked well. The decor is a challenge but didn’t bother me. They do have some specials each day. Overall it is good and I say give them a chance.

Pleasant environment and nice waitress. The food tasted good and seemed to be very affordable. The men’s bathroom was clean, I’m not sure about the ladies restroom. My only complaint might be the fact that when I ordered chopped brisket I received a small bowl of finely shredded brisket, soaked in so much sauce it was like eating soup. But other then that I was pretty pleased with my first visit.

Not sure if this place is under new management or ownership or what but it’s definitely not the same as the last time I visited. The menu changed so there’s no more family type option where you can get ribs so I pieced together meals to make a family variety pack of sorts. The sides came in teeny tiny containers, the potato salad was disgusting. The meats were also small servings for the price but they tasted pretty good. The service was lackluster. I had to ask for my drink and brownie after checking to see if everything was there for my to go order. I was the only person in the place so I’m thinking the service should have been spot on. Not sure if I’ll go back…. pretty disappointed atm.

Waited over an hour for our food. Other people who came in after us were getting served before us. No apologies from the staff. The food was not good. The sliced brisket was so tough we had to feed it to the dogs. The one bite I took did have a good smoke flavor. The smoked chicken was served in shredded pieces in a small styrofoam container. It had more bones than it did chicken. I don’t think it had even 2 oz worth of actual meat to eat. What little I ate had a good flavor though. The green beans were awful. I will say the mashed potatoes were real and delicious. So was the baked potato and salad.

I recently moved to the area and stumbled across it while looking for new places to eat. Service was awesome, food was awsome! I’ve been a couple of times now and tried different things including the brisket and pulled pork! Both have an awesome smoke flavor and are moist and melt in your mouth, the sides are very good and with family pack you get enough to feed an army. Also the home made desserts are Amazing!!! I don’t know where the people writing the bad reviews went but it clearly wasn’t here…. Thank you ribs-n-more y’all have definitely acquired a new regular!

Sort of mixed. Ribs and fried okra and the coleslaw were excellent. Chopped brisket was overly chopped with too much sauce and not even 3 oz of meat. Iced tea was likely instant or made several days ago. Wait staff cheerful and helpful.

We enjoyed our dinner. Our sandwiches had generous portions of meat, and the sides were definitely made in house. My son thought the macaroni and cheese was the best he had ever eaten. Still some kinks to work out, but overall it is much improved!

The best thing about this place has to be the friendly service. The prices are slightly above average. The pulled pork doesn’t have a lot of flavor other than smoke but it is very good. The brisket has no flavor at all and is over cooked. I didn’t get the ribs but after seeing their lack of spices on the pork and brisket I really wasn’t looking forward to going back and getting them. The BBQ sauce is not very good at all which really makes me wonder why they act like it is such a rare commodity that you have to pay extra for it. If you go here I highly suggest staying away from the brisket and bringing your own barbecue sauce.
