Awesome food, great service and excellent management. After a few “blah” experiences a while back, my family and I decided to give Tortuga another shot. We were happy to see many positive changes. The food has always been awesome but now the service and management are up to par. The atmosphere is great. The Baja Shrimp Tacos are my favorite and their new drink (Coconut Crasher) is the bomb!!

Very disappointed that the drink specials they adertised online were not honored. The advertisement is what brought me in, over the dozens of other restaurants in the area. Is there a half star rating? I was ready to buy a nice dinner on a company credit card, also! The unapologetic manager, Martin, seemed eager to give me his name for my unsatisfied rating. My guess is the lack of customer service experience is reflecting poorly on the business as a whole.

Wait staff was great! Food was just ok. My husband ordered steak quesadillas and I ordered fajita beef nachos….they were both just ok. The salsa tasted like tomatoes and black pepper. The black pepper seemed to be their favorite seasoning as that was the forefront flavor in everything. However, I got a frozen house margarita for $1.99 and my husband got a vodka sour for $2.25 and both were very good! (Happy Hour is from 3-6 on weekdays and Fridays).

We have been coming here a while now. The food is OK but they jacked up their prices for some reason. Their food quality is NOT worth the new prices! Will not be returning after this last visit. There isn’t much to the menu. Don’t waste your time or money. Not worth it.

had horrible service. Ordered an item the menu and got the wrong order. The manager proceeded to argue with us telling us the item we order was not on the menu. We proceeded to show the manager on the menu where are item we order was. We finally got our correct order but then we waited forever for our ticket. We waited 20 plus minutes after eating to get out ticket to pay. Been coming here for years and thus had by far been the worst experience I have ever had here. I do not think I well come back

The Cook was touching all the food bare handed. He placed a burger patty in a bun with hand instead of a spatula. He served cheese nachos on a plate then gathered melted cheese hanging off the edge with fingertips and made sure all of it went on the plate. Worst food prep i have ever witnessed, since i was sitting at the bar in left corner i was able to see while he swiped sweat from his forehead during all his mess.

The bartender wouldnt know a margarita if it bit them. The spinach stuffed chicken breast was a piece of chicken (small) like what you get out of a frozen bag at walmart with pre charred grill marks With some spinach and a piece of shredded chicken on top. The salsa is tomato paste with pepper on top. Man. This place has really gone down hill. Used to have best margaritas and food was fantastic. Tonight bartender was waitressing and running register and making crappy drinks. Im telling you save your money. Mcdonalds has a better bang for your buck. Yes two stars because they comped one meal and one drink. I still left a tip. Service wasnt problem. Mgmnt and quality control was.

Their salsa is the best. Always friendly waitstaff. The manager is usually making her rounds checking on everyone. The drinks are great and the food is delicious.

The food was ok not great like it used to be, way to pricy, our food was messed up twice I ordered the “big Juan” with steak and got half chicken and have seasoned beef, then they charged me 4.99 for a spoon full of guacamole. My family and I will most likely not be returning again
